D1 Cairo Meeting point: 24-hour pickup at Cairo Airport (CAI) (we recommend booking a flight arriving before 09:00)
Itinerary details
When you arrive at the airport, filled with boundless anticipation for the mysterious land of Egypt, our English-speaking assistant will already be there to welcome you. 【Airport Pickup】Our English-speaking assistant will wait for you at the visa-on-arrival counter in the customs area, holding a pickup sign, and will assist you with obtaining your visa on arrival and clearing customs. The visa fee is at your own expense. If time permits, the assistant can also help you exchange currency or purchase a local SIM card. After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, we will set off on our journey through Egypt. For flights arriving at Cairo International Airport before 09:00, we will pick you up and head to Old Cairo to visit the 【Citadel of Saladin】, built in the 12th century by Saladin to repel the Crusaders, and the 【Mosque of Muhammad Ali】 inside the citadel. Southwest of the mosque is a brass enclosure containing the tomb of Muhammad Ali, Egypt’s governor during Ottoman rule. We will then visit the 【Hanging Church】 in the Coptic Quarter, also known as the Church of the Virgin Mary. Next, we will head to 【Khan el-Khalili】, Egypt’s largest bazaar. Its quaint shops in Islamic style and wide range of goods are popular with international visitors. After taking in the charm of Old Cairo, we will spend the afternoon at the world-renowned 【Egyptian Museum】, known for its collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Today's itinerary: Chinese-speaking guide Today's notes: (1) If your flight arrives after 09:00, we recommend booking a return flight departing after 21:00 so that the Day 1 itinerary can be moved to the last day. If your flight times do not allow for this, you can arrive one day early and book one additional pre-tour hotel night with the group, including complimentary airport pickup. (2) If your flight arrives after 09:00, we will arrange for a driver to take you to the hotel. Hotels usually allow check-in and rest after 15:00. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the front desk and explore at your leisure. (3) Most Cairo hotels are located around the Giza Pyramids in the western suburbs, about 20–30 km from downtown Cairo. Dinner can be purchased at the hotel restaurant at your own expense. Please note. (4) Visitors to mosques must remove their shoes or wear shoe covers before entering. Women must cover their heads with a headscarf as a sign of respect. Please understand that mosques may be closed to visitors during major events or holidays. Please read the following booking notes carefully: 【New Year's Eve Dinner Fee】For itineraries in the Red Sea that include the night of December 31, some hotels require guests to pay an additional New Year's Eve gala dinner fee of USD 100–150 per person. This fee is mandatory, is not included in the tour price, and must be paid separately. Booking a New Year's Eve tour group indicates your acceptance of this fee. If you would like to add an extra night in the Red Sea on December 31, please contact customer service in advance for a separate quote; this price is not published on the official website. 【Ramadan Advisory】Ramadan in Egypt is expected to last about one month, from February 8 to March 10, 2027 (dates may change). If your itinerary overlaps with this period, please note: Attractions will close earlier each day, so you will need to set out earlier for visits. Guides, drivers, and other service staff are generally Muslim and cannot eat or drink from sunrise to sunset. They also need to pause work briefly several times a day for prayers. Thank you for your understanding; please try not to eat or drink in front of them. Many restaurants only open in the evening, so you may wish to bring some snacks. Entertainment activities and performances in public venues, such as cruise ships, will be suspended. If this is a concern, please consider your travel plans carefully. 【Chinese New Year Group Size Advisory】From late January to mid-February 2027, due to limited availability of Chinese-speaking guides, group sizes may reach a maximum of 15 people per day. 【Pre-Departure Notes】 1) Two to three days before the group departs, customer service will provide an English invitation letter and a Chinese departure notice, and create a WeChat group to help the English-speaking assistant coordinate airport pickup. The pickup assistant will add the Chinese-speaking guide to the group one day before departure. 2) We recommend exchanging for US dollars at your place of residence or at the airport in advance. Cash in US dollars is preferred in Egypt, and euros are also accepted, so you do not need to exchange for Egyptian pounds. 3) If you have an international student ID or related documentation, please bring it with you; you can only receive the discount when purchasing tickets in person. 4) Tickets in Egypt can only be paid for with Visa/Mastercard. We recommend bringing a credit card; your guide can also help you purchase tickets. 5) This is a join-in tour at the destination with international travelers. You may share a vehicle with other guests who are being picked up or dropped off at different hotels, and the itinerary order may be adjusted to accommodate the group. 6) Conditions in Egypt cannot be compared with those in China. Overall service standards and facilities differ to some extent from those on trips in China. Thank you for your understanding. 7) Before departure, check your passport’s validity and visa type, and make sure to carry a valid passport with you on the tour. Local police may conduct random passport checks during your trip in Egypt. The English-speaking airport assistant will also ask to see your passport to verify your name. 【Important Information During the Tour】 1) Depending on the timing, hotel location, itinerary for the day, and arrangements for passengers on nearby flights to be picked up together, you may be asked to wait at the airport or on the way to the hotel, or go directly to a sightseeing spot. The Chinese-speaking guide will usually meet you at the hotel, along the way, or at the first sightseeing spot. 2) All Chinese-speaking guides are licensed Egyptians. Some guides live and work year-round outside Cairo, such as in Luxor and Aswan. As a result, the tour may be led by different guides in different sections, and there may be transfers between some cities without a guide accompanying you. 3) The guide may recommend optional activities based on the itinerary. These activities may be combined with participants who are not part of your tour group. You may choose whether to join according to your needs. Please make sure you understand the activity before signing up and paying; once confirmed, it cannot be canceled or changed. The guide may also recommend local specialty shops, such as papyrus painting or essential oil shops. If you are not interested, please decline directly. If other group members wish to shop, the group may make a stop; thank you for your understanding. 4) Optional activities such as camel rides, hot-air balloon rides, diving, and desert dune bashing involve certain risks. Please carefully consider your personal circumstances and act within your limits. For some activities, such as visiting a Nubian village or a Bedouin tribe, local suppliers may offer food and snacks. As local dietary habits and hygiene standards may differ, we recommend eating little or none to avoid stomach discomfort or other issues. You may bring your own snacks, food, and water in case the activity ends late and you are hungry. 5) Egypt is a Muslim country. Please respect local religious beliefs, customs, and food culture during your trip. Do not point at people casually. When entering mosques or other religious sites, respect local customs and rules and dress appropriately. Please be mindful of what you say and try to avoid arguments or conflicts with local people. Do not bring drones or other items prohibited by law into the country. Do not photograph people or important locations such as airports and military sites without permission, especially children, women, military personnel, and police officers. 6) Tipping is customary in Egypt. In addition to the guide or cruise tips specified in the itinerary, others—such as restroom attendants, hotel porters, restaurant servers, drivers, boatmen, and carriage drivers—may also ask for tips. We recommend respecting local customs and tipping appropriately. 7) Keep valuables with you and avoid using large-denomination bills or drawing attention to your wealth. Before making a purchase, confirm the amount, currency, exchange rate, and the scope and standard of the service to avoid disputes. 8) No refund will be provided if you skip any included or complimentary meals or activities in the itinerary (such as airport transfers, a horse-drawn carriage tour, or a felucca ride) for personal reasons, including flight or health issues. Meals included in the itinerary generally do not include drinks or alcohol; please pay for these yourself if needed. 9) Flights included in the itinerary (if any) are mostly early-morning flights, so you will need to get up early to go to the airport. Transfers will be arranged at both locations, but staff may not travel on the same flight, so you will need to fly independently. Reference baggage allowance for domestic flights: one 6 kg carry-on item per person + one 20 kg checked item per person. If your luggage exceeds the limit, you must pay the excess baggage fee. You may carry valuables with you and leave some luggage at the front desk of your Cairo hotel for collection on your return. 10) Nile cruises (if included) are locally rated as standard five-star (not luxury cruises). Their facilities may differ from those of hotels and from standards in developed regions. Facilities, equipment, conditions, and surroundings vary between cruises departing on different days. As the cruise operates on the river for extended periods, rooms may be damp and have some odor. Engine noise can also be loud, and some rooms may be affected while the boat is underway (the noise is quieter at night, but this issue cannot be entirely avoided). Rooms are assigned at random during check-in. We recommend asking the cruise reception to arrange a room farther from the engine or in a quieter area, but this cannot be guaranteed; the actual room assignment will apply.

Day 4
Red Sea - Luxor
Itinerary details
Travel by car to Luxor in the morning. As the saying goes, “You haven’t been to Egypt if you haven’t been to Luxor.” Visit the [Karnak Temple], filled with giant columns on the east bank of the Nile, then head to the west bank to visit the [Valley of the Kings], where many Egyptian pharaohs are buried, and the [Temple of Queen Hatshepsut], built for an ancient Egyptian queen. Two “singing” [Colossi of Memnon] stand in the open fields between the west bank of the Nile and the Valley of the Kings. Today's itinerary: Chinese-speaking guide Today's notes: (1) [Tonight’s default accommodation is in Luxor.] A horse-drawn carriage ride and a felucca sail are included today. Tomorrow morning, you may have the opportunity to take an optional hot-air balloon ride. There will be no time for Red Sea excursions tomorrow or the following day. ♥ Special gift: experience a traditional Egyptian Nile felucca ride (Feluccas are usually motorized rather than wind-powered; if you happen to board a sail-powered boat, it may remain stationary when there is no wind) ♥ Special gift: experience a traditional Luxor carriage ride (Enjoy a ride through the streets of Luxor’s old town. Please hold on tightly while riding to avoid accidents such as falling and getting injured.) (2) 【If you would like to stay in the Red Sea area tonight instead】, there will be no time today for the carriage ride or felucca ride, and you will not have the opportunity to join the hot-air balloon ride as an optional activity. Tomorrow, you will have a full day of free time in the Red Sea area and can arrange a sea excursion at your leisure. ⭐Please note 【Do not stay in Luxor】 when placing your order, or contact customer service. Changes cannot be made after your booking is confirmed for the tour. Thank you for understanding!⭐ Please note: Due to scheduling conflicts, you can choose only one of the hot-air balloon ride and the Red Sea sea excursion! This itinerary includes a one-night stay at a hotel in Luxor by default, giving you the opportunity to join the hot-air balloon ride as an optional activity, but there will not be time for the optional Red Sea sea excursion. If you would like to join a Red Sea sea excursion and skip the Luxor hot-air balloon ride/carriage ride/felucca ride, please contact customer service or note 【Do not stay in Luxor】 when placing your order.

Day 5
Luxor - Red Sea
Itinerary details
Today, you can choose to get up early and join an optional hot-air balloon ride: “Admire Luxor’s beautiful sunrise from the sky and take in panoramic views of the Nile and ancient monuments such as the majestic Valley of the Kings. The ride lasts about 1 hour and includes insurance.” After breakfast at the hotel, travel by coach to check in at a Red Sea hotel in Hurghada. Between northeastern Africa and the Arabian Peninsula lies a long, narrow, colorful stretch of sea—our destination today, Hurghada on the Red Sea. Facing this sea where the water meets the sky, you can spend a leisurely afternoon on the beach, enjoying the peace and natural beauty far from the hustle and bustle. We have also prepared some exciting optional experiences at an additional cost: 【Red Sea Desert Dune Bashing】Speed through the desert in an exhilarating 4WD off-road vehicle or on a motorcycle, weaving across rolling dunes. (This activity is very thrilling; it is not recommended for young children, older adults, or people with high blood pressure or heart conditions.) You can also visit an ancient Bedouin settlement and enjoy a local specialty dinner. If weather conditions are favorable, we may have the chance to admire a beautiful desert sunset and the rare sight of a mirage. Today's arrangements: No Chinese-speaking guide; free time in the Red Sea with no vehicle service; English-speaking assistant available online; optional activities include transfers. Today's notes: (1) Luxor–Hurghada: approximately 320 km one way / approximately 4 hours (2) Hot-air balloon rides generally operate in two batches. We will do our best to book the first batch, but this cannot be guaranteed due to local conditions. Each balloon may carry up to around 20–30 people. Please stand securely and hold on, and keep a firm grip on your phone when taking photos to prevent it from falling. Hot-air ballooning involves a certain degree of risk, so please carefully consider whether to take part. (3) 【Lunch information】Lunch is complimentary from the hotel. If you arrive late due to the day's schedule or traffic, and miss the lunch service, you may ask the hotel to reschedule lunch for your checkout day. If you leave early on checkout day, you can try requesting a packed meal (contact the hotel front desk one day in advance; collect it from the front desk when checking out). If you do not use it, it will be considered forfeited, and no refund will be given. (4) When returning from Luxor to the Red Sea today, it will be too late to join the Red Sea boat trip optional activity, so we recommend only the optional desert activity in the Red Sea. 【Egypt’s Civil Aviation Authority has decided to suspend all hot-air balloon flights in Luxor from June 1 to August 31. Please be advised!】

Important Information for Joining the Tour
Special Notes
1. This is a destination-based group tour with international travelers. Provided that the promised services and standards remain unchanged, you may be served by different vehicles and guides on different days. You will share vehicles with other travelers, and the group order may be adjusted to combine you with travelers arriving a few days before or after you, or taking the same itinerary. Without reducing the number of attractions, the travel agency and guide may make reasonable adjustments to your itinerary based on weather, traffic, and other conditions (such as changing the itinerary order, the order of visits, timings, or flights). Please be aware.
2. In accordance with local Egyptian policies, the Chinese-speaking tour guides and English-speaking assistants on this itinerary are all local Egyptians. They are professional and welcoming, and most have religious beliefs. Please respect their faith, customs, and food culture during the itinerary. No Chinese-speaking guide or vehicle is provided during free time. An English-speaking assistant can go to the hotel to help if needed. Some transfers, domestic flights, and other parts of the itinerary may be accompanied only by an English-speaking assistant or driver.
3. We recommend exchanging for US dollars in advance or at the airport. US dollars in cash are preferred in Egypt, and euros in cash are also accepted. The guide uses WeChat, so they can also accept RMB via WeChat. If you exchange money for Egyptian pounds, you may not be able to buy entrance tickets (some guides can help buy them, but accept only US dollars, euros, or RMB). Cruise tips are payable only in US dollars or euros. Egyptian pounds have little use during a short trip of just a few days, aside from using the restroom, so you may not need to exchange any.
4. Nile cruise facilities differ to some extent from those of hotels and developed areas. Cruises departing each day may have different facilities, equipment, conditions, and surroundings. As the cruise ship operates on the river for extended periods, rooms can be damp and may have an odor. In addition, the engine can be quite loud, and some rooms may be affected by engine noise while the ship is underway (the noise is lower during nighttime rest, but this issue cannot be completely avoided). Rooms are assigned at random at check-in. We recommend asking the cruise ship front desk to arrange a room away from the engine or in a quieter area, but we cannot guarantee that such a request can be accommodated. The actual room assignment will apply.
5. Egypt is still a relatively underdeveloped developing country. Due to local economic limitations, transportation, hotel services and facilities, dining, and other aspects may fall short of those in developed cities. Local five-star hotels may be equivalent to four-star hotels in China, and some are fairly basic because they opened or were renovated a long time ago. The hotels we regularly work with are mostly outside city centers. Thank you for your understanding.
6. Tipping is customary in Egypt. People such as public restroom attendants, hotel porters, and restaurant servers may ask for tips; this is unrelated to our company. Please respect local customs and be prepared for this before your trip.
7. This tour does not require or arrange compulsory shopping (shopping at attractions, on cruise ships, or elsewhere that is not organized by our company is not included). The guide may also recommend local specialty shops, such as papyrus and essential oil shops. If you are not interested, please decline directly. If other tour group members wish to shop, a stop may be arranged; thank you for your understanding.
8. During special holidays (such as May Day, National Day, Christmas, and Chinese New Year) or peak season, cruise ship cabins may be in short supply. The tour guide may be on a different cruise ship from the group, or some participants may be assigned to another ship. However, the guide will arrange to explain the relevant temple attractions (Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu Temple) when the ships dock. We appreciate your understanding of any inconvenience this may cause.
9. If guests are late or miss an activity for personal reasons, they will be deemed to have voluntarily given up that activity. Guests may not leave the tour group without the consent of the guide or travel agency. If permission is granted, you must sign a liability waiver for leaving the group and will be responsible for your personal safety and belongings during that time. No refunds will be issued in any of these cases. Guests are responsible for any resulting personal safety issues and additional expenses.
10. Some entertainment and commercial venues at the destination may be privately operated, and their qualifications may vary or be incomplete, posing various risks. For your safety and health, please exercise caution when spending money at these venues. During free time, do not go out privately with anyone outside the travel agency or visit dangerous areas. While you are away from the tour, our company cannot ensure your safety or accept responsibility for any issues arising from other activities you take part in or from being in dangerous areas. Please take care of your personal safety when going out or participating in optional activities. Do not take part in high-risk activities such as camel riding. Our company cannot ensure your safety while you participate in such high-risk activities. Please be aware.
11. The meals listed in the itinerary are included. The dining location and standard may be adjusted based on the actual itinerary and group size, provided the number of meals is not reduced. No refund will be given if you choose to forgo a meal. The buffets listed in the itinerary are provided by hotels or cruise ships and generally do not include beverages or alcoholic drinks; please pay for these yourself if needed.
12. The local guide may recommend optional activities based on the circumstances at the destination. These are generally offered as packages, and you may choose whether to participate according to your needs. There is absolutely no compulsory spending. Please confirm that you understand the activities before booking and paying; once confirmed, they cannot be changed or refunded.
13. Local transport conditions in Egypt are poor. Traffic jams are common in cities, and drivers generally have poor driving habits. If a driver drives unsafely or speeds, please promptly advise them to correct their behavior. If you encounter any problems, contact our company promptly to avoid potential risks and danger.
14. Public security in Egypt is relatively good, and it is a safe country. However, please keep valuables with you in hotels and crowded places, and take good care of your belongings while traveling. When leaving the vehicle for sightseeing, dining, shopping, etc., please ensure the vehicle doors and windows are properly closed and keep your valuables with you. The travel agency accepts no responsibility for items that are lost or stolen;
15. During your trip in Egypt, local police may conduct random passport checks. The English-speaking airport assistant may also ask to see your passport to verify your name. Before traveling, check that your passport is valid and that you have the correct visa type. You must carry a valid passport with you to join the tour. If a participant does not bring a valid passport, the guide has the right to refuse them or remove them from the tour.
To best protect your interests, please carefully read our Booking Information and Liability Terms. These terms set out important matters that our company brings to the attention of members of outbound tour groups and form part of the travel contract, together with our Safety Guidelines for Overseas Travel and Other Important Information. Our company reserves all rights to interpret the content of this website.
(1) Registration Process and Important Notes
Anyone booking through this website must carefully read all terms published on our company website and in the order confirmation and tour notification. Once you submit an order, our company will consider this confirmation that you have read and fully agreed to the published terms. If any tour member violates the rules set out in these terms, they will be responsible for all resulting consequences.
1. When registering, first complete the booking form on the website. Please carefully enter and check that all information is correct, including names, gender, document numbers, contact details, required room type, and pickup and drop-off points. Our company accepts no responsibility for any losses resulting from errors in the information you provide. Once your submission is successful, we will send you an order confirmation. As coach seats are limited, we will prioritize tour assignments based on when payments are received. Our company will arrange vehicles according to the final group size, ensuring one seat per person. After checking that all details are correct, please make your payment within the order’s validity period. If the tour fee is not paid in full by the deadline, you will be considered to have withdrawn from the tour, and we reserve the right to cancel your order without further notice.
2. Group members must ensure that 100% of the tour fee is paid at least five working days before departure. As coach seats and hotel rooms are limited, and hotel room reservations are often subject to deadlines, group members who book within five working days of departure must promptly pay the amount due. Otherwise, our company reserves the right, depending on the circumstances, to place the order on hold or cancel it without first obtaining the applicant’s consent. The payer is responsible for any fees incurred by paying the tour fee by any method. After payment, please send proof of payment (the transaction slip for bank counter transfers or a screenshot of the successful online transfer) to our company by email or fax. Be sure to include the corresponding order number on the proof; otherwise, our finance department will be unable to match the payment to the order. If, because payment was made late, the tour fee has still not arrived two days before the end of the tour, our company reserves the right to require the group member to provide the tour guide with a cash deposit equal to the tour fee. If subsequent verification confirms that the payment was made twice, our company will immediately refund the excess amount.
3. After confirming receipt of a tour member’s payment, our company will confirm their participation. Five days before departure, tour members will receive a departure notice at the email address provided during registration, containing information for reference, such as the guide, itinerary, and pick-up and drop-off points. Network delays or spam filtering may prevent tour members from receiving the notice five days before departure. If this happens, please contact the relevant staff for assistance.
4. We will arrange room types according to guests’ requests. In exceptional circumstances, such as during peak travel seasons when individual hotels have insufficient rooms, or for other uncontrollable reasons, room types may change, and tour members must cooperate with our arrangements. If room arrangements on site do not meet a tour member’s requirements because they entered their gender or room type incorrectly when registering, our agency will coordinate and make specific arrangements based on room availability at the hotel on the day of check-in. Any additional costs incurred must be paid by the tour member.
5. If a tour member needs to leave the group early for special circumstances, they must notify us when booking or before joining the tour and sign an “Early Departure Declaration.” For each night of accommodation not used, €16 will be deducted from the tour price (€30 per night if a single room was booked for the entire tour). If no hotel nights are missed, no deduction will be made. If a tour member requests to leave early during the tour, they must inform the guide and sign an “Early Departure Declaration”; fees paid will not be refunded. Tour members must provide accurate information about their health, identity, and other relevant matters when booking and during the tour, complete all required information truthfully, and fulfill all legal formalities. Tour members are responsible for any costs or losses arising from personal circumstances, such as feeling unwell during the trip. Travelers with a history of serious illness, terminal illness, or infectious disease, for example, must disclose this truthfully when booking. In view of a traveler’s health or other circumstances, we reserve the right to decide whether to accept the booking.
6. Travelers over the age of 70 must be accompanied by a family member and complete the “Group Tour Declaration” when signing up. If a traveler insists on joining without a family member, our company reserves the right to refuse them, depending on the circumstances. Travelers are responsible for all consequences arising during the trip from their own actions.
7. If a participant is pregnant, they must disclose this truthfully when registering. As a general rule, participation is not recommended if the pregnancy is more than 24 weeks along. Those who insist on joining must be accompanied by a family member and complete the “Disclaimer,” but our company reserves the right to refuse them depending on the circumstances. Those who are less than 24 weeks pregnant and insist on joining must also be accompanied by a family member and complete the “Participation Declaration,” but our company reserves the right to refuse them depending on the circumstances. Participants are solely responsible for all consequences arising during the trip from their own actions.
8. Minors must be accompanied by at least one adult who will act as their guardian and be responsible for their safety. Tour members are responsible for any consequences arising during the trip from a minor’s own actions or from inadequate supervision by the accompanying adult.
9. Tour members must ensure that all information provided when booking the tour is accurate, especially personal identification details and contact telephone numbers. Tour members are responsible for all consequences of providing incorrect information (for example, being unable to cross a border because personal identification documents have expired or the visa type does not meet the relevant country’s entry requirements, or the guide and other staff being unable to contact a tour member because an incorrect mobile number was provided). Any resulting losses, including return travel costs, transportation costs, and travel expenses, must be borne by the tour member.
10. Applicants are advised not to book any flights or other tickets related to the itinerary on their own before their booking is confirmed. If an applicant chooses to book travel tickets related to the itinerary but is ultimately unable to join the tour, they will bear all resulting losses.

If a tour member suddenly leaves the tour or does not participate in any group activities during the trip (such as meals or sightseeing), they must complete and sign the “Mid-Tour Withdrawal Declaration” provided by our company. Fees paid are non-refundable.
All of the above must be supported by written notice; otherwise, they will be deemed automatically waived, and our company will bear no liability.
(4) Tour Member Obligations
1. Participants must not engage in illegal activities during the tour.
2. When exercising their rights, group members must not harm the interests of the state, society or collective, or the lawful rights and interests of others.
3. Observe public order and respect social ethics. Tour members should respect the dignity of tourism service personnel and show mutual respect and assistance to other members of the group; respect local ethnic customs and traditions; and must not deface or write on scenic features or buildings, spit on the ground, litter, or engage in other uncivilized behavior.
4. Make an effort to learn what you need to know for your trip and improve your awareness of personal safety. Group members may choose and purchase personal accident travel insurance and other insurance on their own. During the trip, take proper care of your luggage and belongings, and keep valuables with you or take other protective measures.
5. When traveling, please pay attention to the local weather and take care to keep children safe.
6. If a traveler voluntarily takes part in hazardous activities included in a regular tour itinerary, such as rock climbing, mountaineering, rafting, scuba diving, or bungee jumping, which may result in personal injury, the traveler alone shall be responsible for any resulting disputes, property loss, or personal injury, and our company shall bear no liability.
7. Airport pickup assistants and tour guides are all local Egyptians. They are professional and hospitable, and most have religious beliefs. Please respect their faith, lifestyle, and food culture during the trip.
(5) Liability
1. The company reserves the right to change accommodation, travel routes, sightseeing attractions, and departure dates as required by specific circumstances.
2. If there are too few participants, or changes occur beyond our company’s control, such as problems with a ship or aircraft, our company reserves the right to amend or cancel the itinerary. If the itinerary is cancelled, our company will refund all fees paid by group members or recommend a similar product as an alternative. Our company is not liable for cancelling any itinerary.
3. In the event of social unrest, terrorist activities, a major infectious disease outbreak, natural disasters, acts of God, disturbances, murder, riots, war, or other disasters beyond our company’s control that may seriously endanger the personal safety of tour members, as well as unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic, or strikes, our company reserves the right to cancel or replace any tour item before or after departure, and to shorten or extend the trip, but must notify tour members in advance. Our company shall not be liable for any resulting additional expenses or losses, and tour members may not object or withdraw on these grounds.
4. As public safety conditions vary from country to country, tour members should take care of their personal and traffic safety and keep their belongings and luggage secure. If anything is lost or damaged during the trip as a result of loss, theft, robbery, or other incidents, please notify the tour leader and report it to the police promptly. Our company accepts no legal liability.
5. Tour members must carry a valid passport and identification documents at all times. If a tour member has to leave the tour early because of problems with their documents or passport, they are responsible for this, and any remaining tour fees will not be refunded. If this affects the normal itinerary of other tour members, the person must pay the corresponding compensation.
6. If a traveler suffers personal injury, death, or loss of or damage to property as a result of an accident during the itinerary (such as an accident while taking part in entertainment or game activities, illness, death, or a fall or injury resulting from personal activities, or the traveler’s breach of the terms, provisions, or notices set out by our company), the traveler shall bear the relevant liability and costs. Our company accepts no responsibility for such injury, death, or loss of or damage to property. The traveler shall compensate our company for any losses caused as a result.
7. If a participant deliberately fails to follow the rules or disrupts the group’s normal activities or interests, our company’s tour leader has the right to cancel their participation. Fees paid will not be refunded, and our company bears no responsibility for anything the participant does after leaving the group.
8. Times shown in the itinerary are estimates. Actual arrival times may be delayed by circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, traffic jams, traffic accidents, holidays and sporting events, riots, or strikes. We appreciate your understanding. If you have onward travel plans requiring you to take other transportation to another city, we strongly recommend allowing at least 3 hours of extra time to avoid inconvenience caused by itinerary delays. We accept no responsibility for losses incurred on travel arrangements made independently when tour members have not allowed sufficient extra time.
Tour Participation Notes
Overseas Travel Safety Information and Other Important Notes
To best protect your interests, please carefully read our Safety Guidelines for Overseas Travel and Other Important Information. These guidelines set out important matters that our company brings to the attention of members of outbound tour groups and form part of the travel contract, together with our Booking Information and Liability Terms.
(1) Helpful Tips
1. Most attractions offer student discounts. Students are advised to bring an International Student Identity Card.
2. Plug standards vary from country to country. If needed, please bring your own plug adapters.
3. Egypt is an Islamic country, so respect local religious beliefs and customs. Women should avoid wearing overly revealing clothing, and couples should avoid intimate gestures such as hugging in public.
4. Alcohol is not prohibited in Egypt, but drinking spirits in public places is not advisable.
5. Photography is prohibited in sensitive areas such as government offices and military facilities. Do not photograph women without their permission. Obtain consent in advance before taking photographs in mosques or museums.
6. Pay attention to food hygiene; it is best not to buy street food. Do not bring pork products.
7. Tipping is very common in Egypt. Tips are generally given to waitstaff, tour guides, and drivers.
(2) Safety Information
Clothing
1. Weather can be changeable, so please bring rain gear and a warm jacket with you.
2. Please take good care of your belongings and luggage. Our company accepts no responsibility for loss or theft.
3. Clearly write your name and contact details on your luggage for identification and to facilitate its return if it is found after being lost. If your luggage is lost, notify the relevant organizations (such as the hotel or airline) and the police as soon as possible. If it is ultimately not recovered, keep the police report to submit a claim to the relevant organization or insurance company (if you purchased insurance).
Meals
1. The tour guide will do their best to help group members who need it arrange Chinese group meals. If there are too few diners to arrange a group meal, or if a Chinese meal cannot be arranged due to holidays, opening hours, or other reasons (such as there being no Chinese restaurant in a small town), the guide will do their best to help guests arrange fast food, Western food, or meals at a supermarket or hotel. If meals arranged as part of the itinerary cannot meet the needs of all group members, we appreciate your understanding. We recommend bringing bottled water and snacks in case of need.
2. Do not drink unsafe water or eat unhygienic food or food that smells unusual or has spoiled. When visiting areas with poor sanitation, choose cooked food and packaged drinks.
3. Do not accept or consume cigarettes, food, or drinks offered by strangers.
4. To prevent discomfort caused by unfamiliar food or surroundings while traveling, bring any medicines you commonly use. Travelers with chronic illnesses should carry their medical records in case they are needed. Never take medicines provided by others without careful consideration.
5. Our company does not provide or arrange alcoholic drinks. Travelers who enjoy drinking must strictly limit their alcohol consumption during the trip. The individuals responsible shall bear all liability for any drunken misconduct, disruption of public order, infringement of others’ rights, or financial losses caused to third parties.
Stay
1. Hotel facilities:
① Hotels do not provide everyday items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, or kettles, so please bring your own. In the event of a trade fair or other large-scale event, our company reserves the right to select hotels of a different star rating.
② If you book with our company a hotel in a city that is not scheduled for an overnight stay on the itinerary, our company reserves the right to choose the hotel’s star rating.
2. Hotel meals:
① Hotel rooms do not provide hot drinking water.
② Hotel food differs somewhat from what you may be used to in China. Breakfast is relatively simple, and lunch and dinner are not especially generous. The quantity and quality are considerably different from domestic standards.
3. Hotel room type:
① A triple room has one double bed and one single bed and is permitted only for two adults traveling with one child under 14.
② For individual travelers, we arrange shared rooms (two beds). If there is a single male or female traveler, we will try to pair them with another traveler of the same sex or add an extra bed. If necessary, married couples may need to stay in separate rooms; please cooperate. Hotel room arrangements are made according to the requests submitted when booking. If an odd number of guests or a single traveler books a double room (for example, 3, 5, or 7 people), those who accept the assigned arrangement will not be charged a single-room supplement. Those who refuse the arrangement must pay the additional single-room supplement.
4. Hotel safety tips:
① Please keep valuables secure and do not leave them in your hotel room. Avoid carrying large amounts of cash or expensive watches and jewelry. Keep your travel documents and belongings safe, and carry a photocopy of your travel documents and credit cards in case you need them as proof when applying for replacements if anything is lost.
② Please take good care of your belongings and luggage. Our company accepts no responsibility in the event of loss or theft.
③ Please do not smoke in your hotel room. Any hotel fines resulting from this will be paid by the person responsible.
④ After checking into your hotel, familiarize yourself with its safety information. Check whether your room windows can be opened and where the firefighting equipment is located. Also familiarize yourself with the hotel’s emergency exits, stairwells, and evacuation routes.
⑤ Check that all the amenities provided in your hotel room are present and undamaged. If anything is missing or damaged, report it immediately to hotel staff or your tour guide.
⑥ Do not casually tell strangers which hotel or room you are staying in. Do not let strangers or people claiming to be hotel repair staff enter your room. Lock the door whenever you leave or enter, and before going to sleep check that the doors and windows are closed and the security lock is engaged. Keep your belongings close to you; do not leave them near the window or on the floor.
⑦ If you need to go out after checking into the hotel, inform your tour guide and get a hotel key card from the front desk. The card has the hotel’s address and phone number, which you can use to ask for help if you get lost.
Trip
1. Boarding and alighting:
① All tour participants must gather on time for departure. Please arrive at the pickup point 15 minutes early. Our tour bus will not wait. Anyone who fails to gather at the agreed time and place, or join the tour along the way, will be considered to have forfeited their place, and no refund will be given.
② The boarding and drop-off times shown on the website are estimates. The exact boarding and drop-off locations are subject to our confirmation. (If traffic or other exceptional circumstances prevent our coach from arriving at the boarding location on time, or if the schedule changes at short notice, we will notify you promptly. Please be patient while you wait.)
③ Coaches come in three types: large coaches, minibuses, and 9-seat minibuses. Large coaches generally have dedicated luggage compartments, while minibuses and 9-seat minibuses have relatively limited luggage space. As coach luggage compartments are limited in size, we recommend bringing as little luggage as possible. We will assign a vehicle based on the final group size, ensuring one seat per person.
④ To prevent congestion near attractions, coaches in most European cities must park some distance from the attractions, and drivers are not allowed to stop wherever they wish. Violations can result in hefty fines. The pick-up and drop-off points may sometimes be some distance from the attractions. We appreciate your understanding.
2. Coach Travel Safety Tips:
① Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle.
② Please do not bring prohibited items.
③ Please do not handle anything on the vehicle unnecessarily, to avoid causing damage.
④ While the coach is making a temporary stop, follow your tour guide’s instructions and do not wander off.
⑤ When group members get off the tour bus to sightsee, dine, or shop, please make sure the bus windows are closed and take your valuables with you. The travel agency accepts no responsibility for items that are lost or stolen.
⑥ As the journey is long and the vehicle is heavily loaded, the vehicle may break down and affect the itinerary. If this happens, the travel agency will promptly take remedial measures. Please cooperate with the group.
(3) Other Information and Important Notes
1. Please comply with local laws and regulations.
2. Please carry the relevant documents and a valid passport with you at all times.
3. During group activities, follow the tour leader’s/guide’s instructions and avoid leaving the group for your safety.
4. Before taking part in any high-risk activities, assess your personal health and abilities, and follow the relevant safety instructions, such as wearing a life jacket, fastening a seat belt, and wearing appropriate or required clothing. We strongly advise tour members to avoid these activities during free time on the trip. If you choose to take part, you do so at your own risk.
5. Do not take part in entertainment activities that may be illegal.
6. Pay attention to and heed all warnings, such as not wandering around or feeding the animals in wildlife parks.
7. When sightseeing in areas with poor public security, be especially vigilant and avoid going out alone.
