In the morning, we’ll drive to Richmond, one of Australia’s best-preserved historic towns. Here, you’ll visit Australia’s oldest stone arch bridge, built in 1823, and the Catholic church, built in 1836. The town’s old bakery and dessert shop are also popular with visitors. Richmond was also a filming location for the Hong Kong movie The Journey of Love. Next, we’ll visit Salamanca Place. In the afternoon, we’ll ascend Mount Wellington, 1,270 meters above sea level, an ideal spot to take in panoramic views of Hobart and the surrounding waters. It is also a place visited by President Xi Jinping. We’ll also visit a famous oyster farm in Tasmania, where you can taste delicious Pacific oysters (at your own expense). During cherry season, we’ll pick and taste Tasmania’s large cherries (at your own expense). Estimated prices for optional activities: 1. Oysters: AUD 20.00–25.00 per dozen 2. East Coast - Swansea - Wineglass Bay
Itinerary details
Tasmania’s east coast is a dreamlike world, where blue skies, white clouds, colorful waters and vibrant reefs adorn the coastline in a kaleidoscope of color. In 1999, Wineglass Bay was voted one of the world’s top ten beaches by the American travel magazine Outside. Nestled among the mountains, however, its beauty is not immediately apparent. Visitors must climb to a higher vantage point and make the effort to appreciate its splendor. Along the way, stop in the beautiful coastal town of Swansea and take in the scenery of Tasmania’s east coast from every angle.
Important notes
Note: For driving safety, the tour guide will not accompany guests on the hike.

Beautiful Cradle Mountain is reflected peacefully in the still waters of Dove Lake, creating a stunning scene and a classic subject for photographers. Bruny Island
Itinerary details
Travel south through central Hobart to the ferry terminal, then take a 20-minute ferry to Bruny Island. Follow the coastline and travel through the forest to The Neck, the famous narrow isthmus connecting the island’s north and south like a slender thread, with endless ocean on both sides. It is also a habitat where penguins return to their nests. After lunch, visit an oyster farm on the island and sample some of Tasmania’s finest oysters (at your own expense). Explore the lively Adventure Bay and look for Bruny Island’s distinctive white wallabies. The island’s wooded hills are also home to a few small shops where you can enjoy cheese and seafood, or even have a glass of whisky. Estimated prices for optional activities: Oysters: AUD 20.00–25.00 per dozen

Day 7
Mount Field National Park - Hobart
Itinerary details
In the morning, we’ll first visit Mount Field National Park, Australia’s second-oldest nature reserve and Tasmania’s oldest. It is home to some of the world’s best-preserved temperate old-growth rainforest. Here, you’ll find both towering ancient eucalyptus trees and the beautiful, spectacular Russell Falls. The lush forests are rich in negative ions, earning the park its nickname, “nature’s oxygen bar.” In the afternoon, we’ll visit the beautiful Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Established in 1818, they are Australia’s second-oldest botanical gardens. Alongside native plants, the gardens feature plants from Europe, Asia, Africa and even Antarctica. The Orchid House, often used as a wedding venue, is especially breathtaking, with its many varieties of flowers. Complimentary drop-off at Hobart Airport is available for flights departing after 18:00. We recommend booking a flight that departs after 18:00.
