Depending on the weather that evening, we’ll head away from Rovaniemi’s city lights and into an ancient, pristine forest to hunt for the Northern Lights. Your expert aurora guide will explain how the Northern Lights form and share ancient legends about them, as well as teach you the techniques you need to photograph them, including shooting angles, composition, and camera settings, so your camera can capture every dazzling moment! If you forget to bring professional equipment for photographing the Northern Lights, such as a camera or tripod, we can arrange for a professional photographer to take photos of you with the Northern Lights. We’ll capture every special moment and email your photos with the Northern Lights to you for free after the tour!

Important notes

Please note: Departure times vary depending on the season and the number of bookings. Please follow the instructions in the e-confirmation email you receive after booking online to meet us at the designated meeting point or wait for pickup. Important Information: 1. A minimum of 2 people is required for the tour to operate; on Sundays and public holidays, a minimum of 4 people is required; 2. If you require pickup service, please wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before the scheduled time for our guide; 3. Children under 12 must be accompanied by at least one adult who has paid the full fare. Children under 2 can join free of charge; 4. If fewer than 2 people book, we may cancel the tour or make other arrangements, depending on the circumstances; 5. If our camera does not capture the Northern Lights during the tour, participants may choose another date with availability within one week and join the same tour once more at half price. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon. Our guide and driver will do their best to find a suitable viewing spot. If cloudy weather prevents you from seeing the Northern Lights on the day of the tour, we cannot offer a refund. Thank you for your understanding.
