Itinerary details
9:00 Meet at King’s Cross railway station and depart 10:30 [Greenwich] (1-hour visit) Greenwich is one of London’s most historically significant and scientifically important areas, bearing witness to the glorious achievements of British seafaring history. The Prime Meridian is the starting point for world time and the dividing line between the Eastern and Western Hemispheres. Take a commemorative photo while standing on the meridian and enjoy the fascinating experience of having “one foot in each hemisphere.” Greenwich Park, one of London’s oldest Royal Parks, offers views of the River Thames and the City of London skyline from its viewpoint. 13:00 [University of Cambridge] (3.5-hour visit) The University of Cambridge is one of the world’s leading universities. Its more than 800-year history has produced countless scientific and literary luminaries. [King’s College]: Cambridge’s most renowned college, whose magnificent Gothic chapel is one of the city’s iconic landmarks. A stone monument inscribed with Xu Zhimo’s poem stands on the college grounds, bearing famous lines from “Saying Goodbye to Cambridge Again.” [River Cam punting]: Enjoy Cambridge’s classic activity: punt along the River Cam with a guide, take in famous sights such as the Mathematical Bridge and Bridge of Sighs, and hear the legendary stories of Cambridge. [Trinity College]: The alma mater of such great figures as Newton and Bacon. The amusing tale of the statue of Henry VIII above the college gate holding a table leg is still widely told. The Newton apple tree on the grounds is a symbol of the spirit of science. 19:00 Return to the meeting point 1. This is a shared tour. Please refer to the staff notification sent on the evening before departure for the exact time and location. Thank you for your cooperation! 2. The end time depends on traffic conditions.
