Itinerary details
Depart from Rome for a visit to Pompeii (optional excursion). Pompeii is an ancient city with a long history in the Campania region, at the southwestern tip of the Apennine Peninsula. About 20 km from the scenic Bay of Naples, it is a seaside resort nestled against the mountains. Then continue to Naples, a city in southern Italy and one of the Mediterranean’s scenic destinations. This picturesque major port city lies at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. Visit Castel Nuovo in the old town, the Catholic church Basilica of Saint Francis of Paola, the Royal Palace of Naples, once home to the kings of Naples, and the Galleria Umberto I, an elegant arcade named after an Italian monarch. In the evening, take a ferry from the port of Naples to Palermo and spend the night on board. 1. Cruise bookings require accurate passenger names, genders, dates of birth, and passport numbers. Please make sure to provide this information accurately when booking; otherwise, we will be unable to make the reservation. 2. Choosing a single room for the trip does not mean that your cabin will be a single room. The default cabin is a four-berth interior cabin, and you may be paired with passengers of another gender. Cabin upgrades are available for an additional fee; see the optional excursions for prices. If the minimum number of passengers for an upgrade is not met, you will need to pay the difference. 3. The cruise travels to and from Sicily on Day 1 and Day 6 of this itinerary. Unlike land travel, cruise operations can be affected by many factors, including weather, sea conditions, military restrictions, diplomatic events, strikes, or mechanical problems. If the cruise is canceled, we will adjust the route and travel to Messina from the town of Villa San Giovanni in southern Italy to embark or disembark on Sicily. 4. Approximate Naples–Palermo ferry schedule: departs at around 20:00 and arrives at around 07:00 the following day. Specific ferry services and times are subject to seasonal and weather conditions. Please refer to the ferry operator’s final arrangements.

Rome - Valletta
Itinerary details
According to your flight schedule, make your own way to the airport for your flight to Malta (airfare from Rome to Malta is not included in the itinerary and must be purchased separately). Airport pickup will be arranged according to your flight schedule (English-speaking service). After pickup, you will be transferred to the hotel to check in. The hotel’s standard check-in time is 14:00–16:00. If you arrive before check-in time or your room is not ready, you may leave your luggage at the hotel reception. Suggested itinerary: Start by strolling through the capital founded by the Knights of St. John. Visit the magnificent [St. John’s Co-Cathedral], then head to [Upper Barrakka Gardens] for panoramic views of the Grand Harbour. Head across the water to the Three Cities, including Vittoriosa (Birgu), known as the “Three Sisters.” This area retains a more authentic Maltese atmosphere, with defensive fortifications and peaceful quays tucked away in its narrow lanes. *You must book and pay for your own flights to and from Valletta. We strongly recommend allowing at least 3 hours of free time to avoid inconvenience in case of delays or disruptions. Our company accepts no responsibility for losses to your independently arranged plans resulting from insufficient time being allowed. Thank you for your understanding.

Important Information for Tour Participants
To best protect your interests, please read our “Booking Information and Liability Details” carefully. This document sets out important information that our company wishes to bring to the attention of travelers on outbound tours. Together with our “Overseas Travel Safety Information and Other Important Notes,” it forms part of the travel contract. Our company reserves all rights to interpret the content of this website.
(I) Registration Process and Important Notes
Anyone booking through this website must carefully read all terms and conditions published on our company website, in the order confirmation, and in the tour joining notice. Once you submit an order, we consider that you have confirmed and fully agreed to all the terms and conditions we have published. If any tour member violates the rules stated in these terms, they will be responsible for all resulting consequences.
1. When booking, first complete the booking form on the website. Please carefully enter and check that all information, including name, gender, ID document number, contact details, required room type, and boarding and disembarking points, is correct. Our company accepts no responsibility for any losses resulting from errors in the information you provide. Once your submission is successful, our company will send you a booking confirmation. As seats on tour buses are limited, we will prioritize boarding arrangements based on when payment is received. Our agency will assign vehicles based on the group size and ensure one seat per person. After checking that all details are correct, please arrange payment within the order’s validity period. If the tour fee is not paid in full by the deadline, your booking will be treated as automatically canceled, and our company reserves the right to cancel your order without further notice.
2. Once the group departure is confirmed, participants must pay 100% of the tour fee before the order hold period expires. As coach seats and hotel rooms are limited, and hotel room bookings are often subject to deadlines, participants who book within five working days of departure should promptly complete payment. Otherwise, our company reserves the right, depending on the circumstances, to hold or cancel such orders without first obtaining the booker's consent. The payer is responsible for any fees incurred, regardless of the payment method. After payment, please send proof of payment (a bank transfer receipt or a screenshot of the successful online transfer) to our company by email or fax. Be sure to include the relevant order number on the proof; otherwise, our finance department will be unable to match the payment to the order. If, because payment was made late, the tour fee has still not arrived two days before the end of the tour, our company may require the participant to provide the corresponding amount in cash as a deposit to the tour guide. If subsequent verification confirms a duplicate payment, our company will promptly refund the overpaid amount.
3. Our company will confirm your place on the tour once your payment has been received. Three days before departure, you will receive a tour notice at the email address provided when booking. It will include information such as the guide, itinerary, and pickup and drop-off points. Due to network delays or spam filtering, you may not receive the notice three days before departure. If this happens, please contact the relevant staff member for assistance.
4. We arrange roommates of the same gender by default. Hotel room types are assigned according to group members' requests at the time of booking. If an individual or an odd-numbered group (such as 3, 5, or 7 people) books, we will arrange room sharing as appropriate. If you do not accept the roommate arrangement, you may pay an additional single supplement. In exceptional circumstances, such as during peak travel seasons when a hotel has insufficient rooms or due to other circumstances beyond our control, room arrangements may change, and group members must cooperate with our arrangements. If the room assigned on arrival does not meet your requirements because you entered the wrong gender or room preference when booking, our company will coordinate and make arrangements based on the rooms available at the hotel that day. Any additional costs incurred will be borne by the group member.
Please note: Although our company arranges room-sharing with people you do not know, we are not responsible for the personalities or behavior of other group members. In the event of differences in habits or disputes, our company and tour guide are not responsible for mediating or intervening.
5. If a tour member needs to leave the tour midway due to special circumstances, they must notify us when booking/before joining the tour and sign a “Mid-Tour Departure Declaration.” For each night of accommodation not used due to early departure, €30 will be deducted (€50 per night if a single room was booked for the entire tour). No tour fee will be deducted if no hotel night is missed. If a tour member requests to leave midway during the tour, they must notify the tour guide and sign a “Mid-Tour Departure Declaration”; fees paid will not be refunded. Tour members must provide truthful information about their health, identity and other details when booking and during the trip, complete relevant forms accurately, and comply with legal formalities. Tour members are responsible for any costs and losses arising from personal reasons, such as feeling unwell during the trip. Visitors with a history of serious medical conditions (such as severe or terminal illnesses or infectious diseases) must disclose this truthfully when booking. In view of a visitor’s health or other circumstances, our company reserves the right to refuse the booking.
6. Tour members aged 70 or over must be accompanied by a family member and complete the “Tour Participation Declaration” when booking. If they insist on joining without a family member, our company reserves the right to refuse their booking at its discretion. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from their own actions during the trip.
7. Pregnant participants must disclose their condition truthfully when booking. As a general rule, participation is not recommended for those more than 24 weeks pregnant. Anyone who insists on joining must be accompanied by a family member and complete a “Liability Waiver,” but our company reserves the right to refuse their booking at its discretion. Those less than 24 weeks pregnant who insist on joining must be accompanied by a family member and complete a “Tour Participation Declaration,” but our company reserves the right to refuse their booking at its discretion. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from their own actions during the trip.
8. Minors joining the tour must be accompanied by at least one adult, who must fulfill their duty of care and be responsible for the minor’s safety. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from a minor’s own actions during the trip or from inadequate supervision by the accompanying person.
9. Tour members must verify that all information provided for joining the tour is accurate, especially personal ID details and contact telephone numbers. Tour members are solely responsible for any consequences arising from incorrect information they provide (for example, being unable to cross a border because personal identification documents have expired or the visa type does not meet the destination country's entry requirements, or a tour member providing an incorrect mobile number that prevents the guide and other relevant staff from contacting them). Any resulting costs or losses, including personal return travel, transportation, and travel expenses, must be borne by the tour member.
10. Please do not book any flights or other transportation tickets related to the tour itinerary before your booking is confirmed. If you book flights or other transportation tickets related to the itinerary at your own discretion but are ultimately unable to join the tour, you will bear all resulting losses.
11. The travel agency may terminate the contract if a tour member is in any of the following situations (unless otherwise provided by relevant laws or administrative regulations): (1) Has an infectious disease or other illness that may endanger the health and safety of other tour members; (2) Carries items that threaten public safety and refuses to hand them over to the relevant authorities; (3) Engages in illegal activities or activities that violate public morals; (4) Engages in activities that seriously affect the rights and interests of other Party A members, and refuses to heed warnings or cannot be stopped; (5) Any other circumstances stipulated by law that affect the performance of the contract. If the travel agency terminates the contract due to any of the above circumstances, it shall notify the tour member in writing or by other means, and may deduct necessary expenses at its discretion before refunding the balance to the tour member.

(IV) Liability
1. Our company reserves the right to change accommodation locations, travel routes, attractions visited, and tour departure dates as required by the circumstances.
2. 6. If a tour member is involved in an accident during the itinerary (for example, an accident while taking part in an entertainment or game activity, or illness, death, a fall or an injury resulting from personal activities, or a breach of the rules and notices set out in our company’s terms), the tour member is responsible for any resulting personal injury, death or property loss, as well as all related liabilities and expenses. Our company accepts no responsibility for such injury, death or property loss. The tour member must compensate our company for any losses caused as a result.
7. If a tour member deliberately fails to follow the rules or disrupts the group’s normal activities or interests, our company’s tour leader has the right to cancel their participation in the tour. Fees paid will not be refunded, and our company accepts no responsibility for the tour member’s actions after they leave the group.
8. Times shown in the itinerary are for reference only. Actual arrival times may be delayed due to various force majeure circumstances, such as weather, traffic congestion, traffic accidents, festivals and sporting events, riots or strikes. We appreciate your understanding. If tour members have onward travel arrangements and need to take other transportation to another city, we strongly recommend allowing at least 3 hours of extra time to avoid inconvenience if the itinerary is delayed or disrupted. Our company accepts no responsibility for losses incurred in independently arranged onward travel due to tour members not allowing sufficient extra time.
(V) Overseas Travel Safety Information and Other Important Notes
I. Helpful Tips
1. Some attractions in Europe offer student discounts. Students are advised to bring their student cards.
2. Plug standards vary across European countries (for example, plugs in Italy and Switzerland differ from those used in Germany). Please bring the appropriate plug adapters if needed.
3. For safety reasons, European transport operators require children of all ages to occupy a seat. As most coaches do not have child safety seats available, parents traveling with children under 3 may bring their own. However, each child safety seat occupies one passenger seat, so we cannot guarantee that all personal safety seats will be suitable for use on the tour coach. Please take note.
II. Safety Information
Clothing
1. European weather is changeable. Be sure to bring rain gear and a warm coat.
2. Please take good care of your belongings and luggage. Our company accepts no responsibility for loss or theft.
3. Clearly label your luggage with your name and contact details for identification and to facilitate its return if found. If your luggage is lost, notify the relevant parties (such as the hotel or airline) and the police as soon as possible. If it cannot be recovered, keep the police report to support a claim with the relevant party or your insurance company (if you purchased insurance).
Food
1. Hotel breakfast: Europeans tend to eat a simple breakfast. Hotel breakfasts usually consist only of bread, coffee, tea, juice, etc. The hotels we arrange all include breakfast buffets;
2. Carry bottled water and snacks in case of need, especially for older adults and children.
3. Do not drink unsafe water or eat food that is unhygienic, has an unusual odor, or has spoiled;
4. Do not accept or consume cigarettes, food, or drinks offered by strangers.
5. To prevent discomfort caused by a change of climate or environment during the trip, bring commonly used or regular medications. Travelers with chronic illnesses should carry their medical records in case of emergency. Never take medication provided by others without consulting a doctor.
6. Our agency does not provide or arrange alcoholic drinks. Tour members who enjoy drinking must strictly limit their alcohol consumption during the trip. The person responsible is liable for any consequences of disorderly conduct due to drunkenness, disruption of public order, infringement of others’ rights or financial loss caused to a third party.
Stay
1. Hotel facilities:
① European cities are relatively small, and centrally located hotels are extremely limited in number and size. Their facilities may be rather dated and not up to the standard of comparable hotels in China.
② European hotels do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. Please bring your own daily essentials.
③ Check that all items provided in your room are present and undamaged. If anything is missing or damaged, report it immediately to hotel staff or your tour guide.
④ For various reasons, such as environmental considerations, the age of the buildings, or Europe’s relatively cool climate, many hotels do not have air conditioning.
⑤ Hotels in Italy are relatively old buildings and generally provide blankets. Blankets are usually kept in the room’s closet. If there are none, please contact the front desk to request one.
⑥ Please bring a small travel hair dryer if you need one.
⑦ German-style double beds are often one large bed made up with two sets of bedding. This bed arrangement is common in most parts of Europe, whether travelers request one large bed or two single beds.
2. Hotel meals:
① European hotel rooms do not provide hot drinking water.
② Please value food and do not waste it or take it away.
③ Breakfast hours vary from hotel to hotel in Europe. Please be sure to arrive at the restaurant before the time stated by the hotel to avoid not having enough food available due to arriving late for personal reasons.
④ Hotel dining differs somewhat from China. Breakfast is relatively simple (German breakfasts are more substantial, while Italian breakfasts are the simplest, consisting only of bread and coffee). Lunch and dinner are not always abundant either, and their quantity and quality differ considerably from the standards in China.
3. Hotel safety tips:
① Please keep your valuables safe and do not leave them in your hotel room. Avoid carrying large amounts of cash or expensive watches or jewelry. Keep your travel documents and belongings safe, and carry a copy of your travel documents and credit cards in case they are lost and need to be replaced. Our company accepts no responsibility for any loss or theft. ② Please do not smoke in your hotel room. Any hotel fines resulting from this will be paid by the person responsible.
③ After checking into the hotel, familiarize yourself with its safety information. Check whether the room windows can be opened and where the firefighting equipment is located. Familiarize yourself with the hotel’s emergency exits, stairways, and evacuation routes.
④ Do not tell strangers which hotel or room you are staying in, and do not let strangers or people claiming to be hotel maintenance staff enter your room. Lock the door whenever you leave or enter, and before going to sleep check that the door and windows are closed and the security lock is engaged. Keep your belongings close by; do not leave them near the window or on the floor.
⑤ If you need to go out after checking into the hotel, please inform your tour guide and get a hotel business card from the front desk. The card has the hotel’s address and phone number; if you get lost, you can use the address on the card to ask for help.
Transportation
1. Boarding and disembarking:
① All tour participants must assemble on time and depart promptly. Please arrive at the pick-up point 15 minutes in advance. Our tour buses will not wait. Anyone who fails to assemble and depart at the agreed time and place, and cannot join the tour en route, will be considered to have forfeited the tour voluntarily, and no refund will be given.
② The pick-up and drop-off times shown on the website are estimates. The specific pick-up and drop-off locations are subject to confirmation by our company. (If traffic or other exceptional circumstances prevent our bus from arriving at the pick-up point on time, or if the time changes at short notice, our company will notify you promptly. Please wait patiently.)
③ Vehicles include large coaches, minibuses, and 9-seat minibuses. Large coaches generally have dedicated luggage compartments, while minibuses and 9-seat minibuses have relatively limited luggage space. Given the limited capacity of bus luggage compartments, we recommend bringing as little luggage as possible. Our company will assign a vehicle based on the final group size, ensuring one seat per person.
④ To avoid overcrowding near attractions, bus parking areas in many European cities are located far from the attractions, and drivers are not permitted to stop wherever they like. Violations may incur heavy fines. The pick-up and drop-off points may therefore be some distance from the attractions. We appreciate your understanding.
2. Safety tips for traveling by coach:
① Smoking is prohibited on the bus.
② Do not bring prohibited items.
③ Do not tamper with anything on the bus, to avoid unnecessary damage.
④ When the bus makes a temporary stop, follow your tour guide’s instructions and do not wander off.
⑤ When getting off the tour bus to sightsee, dine, or shop, please make sure the bus windows are closed and keep your valuables with you. The travel agency accepts no responsibility for items that are lost or stolen.
⑥ As the journey is very long and the vehicles are under considerable strain, a vehicle breakdown may affect the itinerary. In such cases, the travel agency will promptly take remedial measures. Please cooperate.
III. Other Information and Important Notes
1. Please comply with local laws and regulations.
2. Be sure to carry the relevant documents and a valid passport with you.
3. During group activities, follow the tour leader's/guide's instructions and avoid leaving the group for your safety.
4. Before participating in any high-risk activity, assess your health and ability, and follow the relevant safety instructions, such as wearing a life jacket, fastening a seat belt, and wearing suitable or required clothing. We strongly advise group members not to take part in such activities during free time on the tour. If you choose to participate, you do so at your own risk.
5. Do not participate in entertainment activities suspected of being illegal.
6. Pay attention to and heed all warnings. For example, do not walk around or feed the animals in a wildlife park.
7. Take extra care and remain alert when visiting areas with poor public security, and avoid going out alone.
