The journey begins early in the morning in front of the Vienna State Opera. The first stop is Bratislava, the charming capital of Slovakia. After about an hour and a half, you will arrive in Bratislava. Here, you can stop at a location in the Old Town by the Danube to capture unforgettable moments. The journey then continues to Budapest, Hungary’s impressive capital. You will have about two hours of free time to explore the city on your own, enjoy a typical Hungarian lunch, shop for souvenirs, or stroll along the Danube. Afterwards, meet your guide at the InterContinental Budapest in the city center. You will then embark on a panoramic guided tour of Pest. Along the way, you will see Budapest’s most famous landmarks: the magnificent Parliament Building, the Hungarian State Opera House, and the Great Synagogue. After a brief photo stop at Heroes’ Square, you will return to Vienna. In the evening, you will arrive back at the Vienna State Opera, bringing your unforgettable day trip to an end. St. Stephen's Cathedral is a landmark of Vienna and one of the world's most famous Gothic churches. Its 137-meter spire is the second tallest church spire in the world, after Cologne Cathedral. Its soaring dome and intricately decorated Baroque altars leave a lasting impression, as do its beautifully carved marble columns. The magnificent architecture and colorful stained glass create a sacred atmosphere. Visitors can also climb the cathedral's south tower and take an elevator up to see the Pummerin bell, with sweeping views of Vienna from the tower.
