Day 2
Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe - Pyramids of the Sun and Moon - Mexico City - Tequila Museum
Itinerary details
09:00 After breakfast, meet your tour guide at the hotel 09:30-10:30 Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe (interior visit) Visit Mexico's largest religious sanctuary, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, designated by the Pope as one of the three great Catholic shrines. 10:30-13:00 Ancient City of Teotihuacan (interior visit) We'll take you to the Ancient City of Teotihuacan, the “City of the Gods,” home to the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon (interior visit). This is the largest ancient Indigenous cultural site in Mesoamerica and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987. At the magnificent Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, you can experience the prosperity and grandeur of this ancient city-state, once at its height and comparable to ancient Rome. Stroll along the central avenue of Teotihuacan, the Avenue of the Dead, where temples line the route and the buildings are adorned with exquisite reliefs. Countless people were once led along this avenue by priests to the temples to be sacrificed, giving the avenue its name. 13:00-14:00 After lunch at a traditional Mexican restaurant, return to the city center for a city tour. 15:30-18:30 Arrive at the central【Zócalo】, where the opening scene of the film *Spectre* (007) takes place. On the north side of the square, visit【Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral】(inside visit), Mexico’s most iconic religious building and the largest Catholic church in Latin America. On the east side of the square is【National Palace】(exterior view), home to Mexico’s federal executive branch. Next, visit the famous【Great Temple of the Aztec Empire】(exterior view), the site of the earliest settlement in Mexico City and, in the eyes of the ancient Aztecs, the very center of the world. Then follow your guide to see【Palace of Fine Arts】(exterior view). Finally, visit【Tequila Museum】(inside visit), where you can learn about the history of Mexico’s national liquor and enjoy a complimentary glass of tequila. 18:30 At the end of the tour, we’ll take you back to your hotel. *Tour times are for reference only. The departure time, itinerary order, and tour duration may be adjusted depending on actual conditions.

Day 3
Xochimilco boat ride - University City - National Museum of Anthropology
Itinerary details
09:00-10:00 After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll take you to【Xochimilco】, known as the “Venice” of Mexico. 10:00-11:30 Xochimilco: Experience the ancient Aztec tradition of life on the water in an ecological park. This is where Mexico City's urban transport began, and the waterways bear witness to the city's commercial and agricultural development. During our approximately one-hour boat trip, accompanied by the lilting melodies of mariachi, Mexico's traditional folk music, we'll experience the unique charm of the “Venice of Mexico.” We'll also disembark to visit the flower nurseries of the “Land of Flowers.” After our boat trip, immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Latin America, we'll visit the National Autonomous University of Mexico. 12:00-12:45 Founded in 1551, the National Autonomous University of Mexico is the oldest and largest comprehensive university in Mexico and Latin America, and one of the largest institutions of higher education in the world. As Mexico's leading university, it has brought the artistic creations of world-renowned painters such as Juan O'Gorman onto campus. The unpretentious style of Indigenous art, combined with dazzling Romantic and Realist techniques, makes the enormous murals on the building façades striking and vibrant, with a powerful visual impact. Numerous classical, medieval, and Renaissance sculptures complement the modern architecture, adding a rich cultural atmosphere to the campus. The passion flowing through Mexican veins is boldly expressed in dazzling colors and exaggerated lines, once again demonstrating the Mexican talent for integrating art and architecture. In 2007, UNESCO added the university to the World Heritage List. 12:45-14:00 Enjoy lunch near the university campus 14:00-15:00 Return journey 15:00-17:00 National Museum of Anthropology (admission included, with a dedicated guide). Mexico's National Museum of Anthropology is the largest anthropology museum in Central America, housing tens of thousands of artifacts from Indigenous civilizations. Renowned for its outstanding architecture and exhibits showcasing ancient Indigenous civilizations, the museum is one of Mexico City's major tourist attractions. Our Chinese-speaking guide will introduce you to important collections from Indigenous, Maya, and Aztec civilizations. 18:00 At the end of the tour, we’ll drop you off at your hotel. *Tour times are for reference only. The departure time, itinerary order, and tour duration may be adjusted depending on actual conditions.
