Day 2
Cairo
Itinerary details
Morning: Visit the Giza Pyramid Complex (approximately 90 minutes). Hailed as the tallest ancient structures still standing today and the foremost of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the complex includes the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the oldest and only surviving structure among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World; the Pyramid of Khafre; and the Pyramid of Menkaure. (Please note: If you wish to enter the largest pyramid, the Great Pyramid of Khufu, to see the sarcophagus, you must purchase a ticket yourself; daily admission is limited.) Then head to the famous [Great Sphinx] beside the pyramids (approximately 30 minutes). It is one of Egypt's best-known ancient monuments and, together with the pyramids, one of the most iconic legacies of ancient Egyptian civilization. Ancient Egyptians often used lions to represent pharaohs, symbolizing their boundless authority and immense power. This idea of the pharaoh as both god and man gave rise to the sphinx, a creature combining human and lion features. Afternoon: Visit the world-renowned [Grand Egyptian Museum] (approximately 180 minutes inside). Facing the pyramids, this modern architectural marvel engages in a dialogue across time with the ancient pyramids when viewed from the Giza Plateau, earning it the nickname “the Fourth Pyramid.” The Grand Egyptian Museum is the world's largest archaeological museum, with more than 100,000 artifacts and nearly 500,000 square meters of exhibition space. It displays numerous precious artifacts from Egypt's prehistory through the Greco-Roman period, including, for the first time in one place, more than 5,000 grave goods belonging to the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun, as well as the solar boat buried with Pharaoh Khufu, the colossal statue of Pharaoh Ramses II, and many other artifacts. Then: Head to the renowned Khan el-Khalili Bazaar (approximately 90 minutes), one of Egypt’s most famous Arab markets. With an 800-year history, it is a celebrated Arab trading center that draws crowds of visitors. If you get tired of browsing, take a break and enjoy a drink at your own expense at Café El Fishawy, Nobel Prize-winning author Naguib Mahfouz’s favorite café. This coffeehouse has a history spanning more than 200 years.

Itinerary details
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, travel to the ideal holiday destination of Hurghada on the Red Sea (approximately 6 hours by car; no guide on board). City introduction: Red Sea: The Red Sea’s beaches are a magnificent gift from nature. Beneath the clear, blue waters are colorful coral and rare marine life. In the distance, layers of mountains stretch along the coastline, with broad plains between them that are ideal for camping. These extraordinary natural landscapes, together with a climate that is pleasant in both summer and winter, create a stunning picture that makes visitors feel as if they are in paradise. Walk along the Red Sea floor, surrounded by colorful coral, shimmering schools of fish, and mysterious shipwrecks. The Red Sea region has an exceptional marine environment and water resources, making it one of the world’s most famous diving paradises.

Day 5
Hurghada (Red Sea) - Luxor
Itinerary details
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Luxor (approximately 4 hours; no guide on board). Noon: Arrive in Luxor and meet your Luxor guide, then visit the world’s largest temple complex, Karnak Temple (approximately 90 minutes inside). This temple complex was dedicated to the pharaohs of successive dynasties. Its carefully planned layout is breathtaking! The temple gained fame as a filming location for the renowned movie Death on the Nile. Here you can see the statue of Ramesses II in the world-famous Hypostyle Hall, as well as the small temple of the queen. A horse-drawn carriage ride is a must-try in Luxor! We have specially arranged a carriage ride to the magnificent Luxor Temple. The tall, handsome black horses and the lavishly decorated carriage alone are enough to get you excited (a US$1 tip for the carriage driver is required)! Luxor Temple (approximately 60 minutes inside) is located in the city center. It was once a small temple used only for New Year celebrations. Later, Amenhotep III, Thutmose III, and Ramesses II successively expanded and renovated it, making it a place for ceremonies honoring Amun-Ra, the goddess Mut, and the god Khonsu. It is therefore also known as the “Southern Sanctuary of Amun.” Luxor Market (approximately 30 minutes): Markets are not only a reflection of a city, but also a place full of everyday life. Browsing a market is a quick way to get to know a city. We’ll take you to explore an Egyptian market and experience the distinctive culture of the Arab world. Take a break here, enjoy a coffee and a sweet, and savor a peaceful moment.

Luxor - Aswan
Itinerary details
Recommended optional excursion: Wake up before dawn for a hot-air balloon ride (subject to the weather on the day). From the balloon, take in views of Luxor, the world’s largest open-air museum. If you’re lucky, you may see Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Valley of the Kings, as well as beautiful desert oases and fields and the magnificent landscape after sunrise, where yellow desert meets green farmland. Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Aswan (approx. 4.5 hours). Afternoon: Visit the 【Aswan High Dam】 (approx. 30 minutes). It is 111 meters high, 3,830 meters long, and 40 meters wide. Spanning the Nile, it causes the river to flow upstream for 500 kilometers, creating Lake Nasser, an artificial reservoir with a capacity of 164 billion cubic meters. The dam is Aswan’s most famous landmark. Its construction brought an end to the Nile’s annual floods, allowing the river that had nourished Egypt for thousands of years to truly benefit its people.

Day 7
Aswan
Itinerary details
Optional excursion: Get up early to visit the [Temple of Abu Simbel] and the neighboring [Temple of Nefertari]. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Great and Small Temples of Abu Simbel are important memorial monuments built by Ramses II in 1275 BC. The temple is 31 meters high, 38 meters wide, and 65 meters long, carved out of an entire mountainside. The façade of the Great Temple features four colossal statues of Ramses II, each 20 meters high. The temple is hollowed out within, with eight standing statues depicting him in divine form. The statues are remarkably well preserved, and the surrounding walls feature vivid painted murals. The temples of Abu Simbel stand at Egypt's southernmost point, proclaiming the power and majesty of Egypt. Morning: Sleep in and enjoy some free time. Afternoon: Visit the 【Temple of Philae】 (approx. 60 minutes). Originally located on an island in the Nile, the Temple of Philae was dedicated by the ancient Egyptians to the goddess Isis. Standing quietly on an island in the Nile, it feels secluded and mysterious. Unlike the imposing grandeur of other temples, Philae has a warm, romantic atmosphere. It seems like a guardian of time, telling the story of ancient Egypt’s splendor and mystery. Its beautifully carved columns and murals look so lifelike that they transport you back to that ancient era. Enjoy a 【felucca sail on the Nile】 (approx. 30 minutes). Aswan, in the upper reaches of the Nile, is the cleanest of the riverside cities, with hotels lining the banks, lush date palms, and luxurious sightseeing cruise boats. Sail aboard a felucca along the Nile’s most beautiful stretch. With a gentle breeze, it is one of the most relaxing and romantic experiences of an Egypt trip. Note: If the wind is too weak that day, the ride will be changed to a motorboat.

3. At the Pyramids, many locals may offer camel rides, take your photo, or ask to take a photo with you, claiming that it is free. Do not believe them; afterward, they will ask tourists for a large tip;
4. The guide may adjust the itinerary as needed, provided no attractions are omitted. If weather, traffic jams, strikes or other force majeure events prevent visits to attractions on the itinerary, the travel agency reserves the right to change the attractions or refund the loss after your return, based on the ticket price.
Expenses
1. Specialty products: papyrus paintings, perfume oils, spices, glassware, copperware, crystal, cotton goods, carpets, dates, etc.
2. Reference exchange rates: US$1 = EGP 49; RMB 1 = EGP 7
3. Currencies in circulation: US dollars and Egyptian pounds. Some tourist shops accept international credit cards; RMB is not accepted;
4. Public restrooms in Egypt charge a fee of EGP 10–20. Please bring small change.
Tipping
1. Tipping is customary abroad, and giving a tip is also a courtesy.
2. If you request extra service from staff at a hotel, restaurant, or other venue, it is best to leave a tip, generally about US$1;
3. We recommend bringing small items such as cooling balm and pens, as locals often ask Chinese visitors for these items.
