Itinerary details
Begin today's beautiful journey 08:00 JR Tokyo Station, Marunouchi North Exit [Guests are advised to arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early] 【10:30】▼ A popular photo spot: Arakurayama Sengen Park—an exceptional place to enjoy panoramic views of Mount Fuji (approx. 60 minutes) A newly popular attraction, named one of the “21 places photographers must visit before they die.” This is an exceptional place to enjoy panoramic views of Mount Fuji. Climb the 397 steps near the main shrine, and the five-story Chureito Pagoda comes into view. You can capture the five-story pagoda, Mount Fuji, and the town below all in one shot. Photographers and visitors from around the world flock here to take in this scenery. The park is beautiful not only in spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom, but also amid the fresh greenery of summer, the autumn foliage, and the winter snow. In addition to its spectacular views of Mount Fuji, you can also look out over the charming streets of Fujiyoshida. 【11:45】▼Hikawa Clock Shop – Unlock a hidden photo spot for a Japanese street scene, with Mount Fuji at the end of the street (approx. 20 minutes) Escape the bustle of the city and visit Mount Fuji’s “stairway town.” The quiet street leading toward Mount Fuji looks like a ladder reaching into the clouds, with the mountain seemingly at the end of the road—so close, yet out of reach~~ Hikawa Clock Shop is a hugely popular spot on Instagram, and it draws many visitors. Take photos of the traditional Japanese streetscape and enjoy the distinctive sight of Mount Fuji blending into the street. Your pictures are sure to turn out beautifully! ☆ Refunds are not available if weather or other circumstances beyond our control make the attraction less scenic or prevent you from getting good photos!! 【12:30】▼Savor sweet spring water at Oshino Hakkai, the “Jiuzhaigou of Japan” at the foot of Mount Fuji (approx. 80 minutes) 【Oshino Hakkai】(60 minutes) Oshino Hakkai refers to eight spring-fed ponds formed when Mount Fuji’s snowmelt filters through layers of earth. Renowned for its beautiful natural surroundings, the ponds shimmer in the sunlight and blend harmoniously with the magnificent Mount Fuji, creating a breathtaking sight that draws photographers from far and wide. Oshino Hakkai is designated a Natural Monument of Japan. 【14:30】▼Lawson convenience store – a popular travel photography spot (approx. 20 minutes) How do you capture the street scene at the popular Lawson convenience store near Lake Kawaguchi? Set up your tripod across the street, switch to Portrait mode, and patiently wait until there are fewer people so you can snap your shot! The photos may look beautiful, but you’ll need to cross the road, so be sure to watch out for traffic! # Refunds are not available if weather or other circumstances beyond our control make the attraction less scenic or prevent you from getting good photos!! 【15:20】▼Oishi Park, Lake Kawaguchi (approx. 50 minutes; during periods outside the seasonal attraction dates, visit Oishi Park and skip the Maple Corridor) Every summer, lavender blooms across Oishi Park on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, blanketing the park in purple and creating a stunning contrast with Mount Fuji. In autumn, the kochia (summer cypress) turns a vivid red and looks especially cute with its fluffy appearance. The park also hosts the Lake Kawaguchi Herb Festival. (Lavender: June–July; begonias and cosmos: July–September; kochia: October) ▼Lake Kawaguchi Maple Corridor (during the seasonal period from 10/20 to 11/23, spend approx. 50 minutes here and skip Oishi Park) The snow-capped Mount Fuji framed by fiery red maple leaves is a sight you won’t want to miss. This special annual event is waiting for you to visit and take part. The shores of Lake Kawaguchi are awash with red maple leaves, creating a magnificent autumn landscape that will leave you spellbound. ▼Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival (during the seasonal period, visit the Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival from 2025/03/15 to 2025/04/10 and skip Oishi Park) The Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival is held on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, beside the Kawaguchiko Circular Hall. This famous photo spot offers views of Mount Fuji, the lake, and cherry blossoms in full bloom all in one frame. 【16:20】End today’s tour and begin the return journey (the return departure time for the Cherry Blossom Festival itinerary is expected to be extended to 16:40). Return times are for reference only; departure may be earlier if the day’s itinerary runs smoothly and road conditions are favorable. 【18:50】Arrive at the Marunouchi North Exit of JR Tokyo Station / your hotel / guesthouse, bringing today’s enjoyable tour to an end! ☆ Guests on the package with pickup and drop-off at the meeting point can end the tour at Tokyo Station. ☆ Tokyo Station (Tokyo Station Hotel) is located in the Marunouchi business district in Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan. This multi-level station has platforms on two levels. Lines currently serving the station include the Tohoku Shinkansen, Yamagata Shinkansen, Akita Shinkansen, Joetsu Shinkansen, Hokuriku Shinkansen, Tokaido Line, Chuo Line (Rapid), Sobu Line (Rapid), Yokosuka Line, Keiyo Line, Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Narita Express, Tokaido Shinkansen, and Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (station code: M-17). It is not only the starting point for many railway lines in Japan, but also one of Tokyo’s main stations. The station’s main building, the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building, is an Important Cultural Property of Japan. Renovated in 2012, it was restored to its present appearance, faithfully recreating the original station building from 100 years ago. For the Mount Fuji itinerary, from March 25 to April 25, visit the Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival instead of Oishi Park
