Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before departure. ※The driver-guide will arrange the pickup order and times based on factors such as travel distances. Please be understanding and cooperative, and follow the driver-guide’s arrangements. 【10:00】Yamanashi ▼Oishi Park, Lake Kawaguchi (approx. 50 minutes; visit Oishi Park outside the seasonal event period) Every summer, lavender blooms throughout Oishi Park on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, draping the park in a purple carpet and creating a stunning contrast with views of Mount Fuji. In autumn, the park’s kochia (summer cypress) turns bright red, with its fluffy foliage looking especially charming. The park also hosts the Lake Kawaguchi Herb Festival. (Lavender: June–July; begonias and cosmos: July–September; kochia: October) ▼Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival (during cherry blossom season only: March 30–April 20; 50 minutes at this stop, replacing Oishi Park) The annual Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival takes place during this picture-perfect season on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, beside the Kawaguchiko Circular Hall. Join us for a romantic spring celebration. Stroll along the lakeshore, where thousands of cherry trees burst into bloom. Their pink and white blossoms, like clouds and rosy skies, are beautifully reflected alongside the blue lake and majestic Mount Fuji, creating a breathtaking natural panorama. Besides cherry blossom viewing, the Lake Kawaguchi Cherry Blossom Festival features a variety of activities. Sample local cherry blossom specialties, enjoy traditional cultural performances, and browse the lively market for the perfect souvenir. 【11:00】Yamanashi ▼Lawson, in front of Kawaguchiko Station or Kawaguchiko Town Hall—popular photography spot (approx. 20 minutes) How to capture the streetscape at Lawson in front of Kawaguchiko Station: set up a tripod across the street, switch to portrait mode, and patiently wait for the crowds to thin before snapping your shot! The photos are beautiful, but you’ll need to cross the road, so be sure to stay safe! #No refunds if the scenery is unattractive or you can’t get good photos due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control!! 【11:40】Yamanashi ▼Hikawa Clock Shop—find a hidden photo spot with a Japanese streetscape and Mount Fuji at the end of the road (approx. 20 minutes) Escape the bustle of the city and visit Mount Fuji’s “stairway town.” The quiet street leading to Mount Fuji looks like a ladder reaching into the clouds, with Mount Fuji at the far end—so close, yet just out of reach~~ This viral Instagram hotspot, Hikawa Clock Shop, draws many visitors. Capture a classic Japanese streetscape and enjoy the unique sight of Mount Fuji blending into the street. It’s a great photo spot for stunning shots! #No refunds if the scenery is unattractive or you can’t get good photos due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control!! [12:10] Yamanashi ▼Hot spring bath at Lake Yamanaka with views of Mt. Fuji (90-minute stay) Lake Yamanaka is the only one of the Fuji Five Lakes with a natural river flowing out of it. It is also the largest and shallowest of the five lakes, with a maximum depth of just 13.3 meters. From Lake Yamanaka, Mt. Fuji’s long ridgelines stretch across the horizon, creating a striking view. Swans, called “hakuchō” in Japanese, fly here to lay eggs and raise their young each year from February to April, even in the bitter cold. Visitors often feed them, and the swans sometimes swim over to mingle with them, which is why Lake Yamanaka is also known as “Swan Lake.” On June 22, 2013, it was registered as a World Cultural Heritage site as part of “Fujisan, sacred place and source of artistic inspiration.” If you choose to visit the hot spring, we provide round-trip transportation with the tour group. However, other hot spring-related fees are not included. Yamanakako Onsen Benifuji-no-Yu (enjoy a hot spring bath with views of Mt. Fuji) Bathing fees: ● Adults: 900 yen ● Junior and senior high school students: 700 yen ● Elementary school students: 350 yen ● Preschool children: free (Includes bathing tax: adults 150 yen; junior and senior high school students 100 yen) ※ Elementary school students are exempt from the bathing tax. Hot spring information: http://www.benifuji.co.jp/ If Fuji-san no Yu is closed for a scheduled holiday, a hot spring visit cannot be arranged. 【16:00】End today's itinerary and begin the return journey (the return departure for the Cherry Blossom Festival itinerary is expected to be delayed until 16:40). The return time is for reference only and may be earlier if the day's itinerary goes smoothly and road conditions are good, among other factors. (Approximately 2–2.5 hours by car) 【18:30】Arrive at the Marunouchi North Exit of JR Tokyo Station, bringing today's itinerary to a pleasant end! Guests who selected the meeting-point pickup and drop-off option will leave the group at Tokyo Station. Guests with hotel pickup and drop-off will be returned to their original hotel. Tokyo Station (Tokyo Station Hotel) is located in Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan, at the center of the Marunouchi business district. It is a multi-level station with platforms on two levels. The lines currently in service include the Tohoku Shinkansen, Yamagata Shinkansen, Akita Shinkansen, Joetsu Shinkansen, Hokuriku Shinkansen, Tokaido Line, Chuo Line (Rapid), Sobu Line (Rapid), Yokosuka Line, Keiyo Line, Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Narita Express, Tokaido Shinkansen, and Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (station code: M-17). It is not only the starting point for many of Japan's railway lines, but also one of Tokyo's major stations. Tokyo Station's main building, the “Tokyo Station Red Brick Building,” is an Important Cultural Property of Japan. It was renovated in 2012 to restore its original appearance from 100 years ago.
