Itinerary details
Departing from Reykjavík, today we’ll explore Iceland’s most famous natural wonders. Walk along volcanic black sand beaches, get up close to glaciers, feel the rush of waterfalls, and visit charming coastal villages—every stop is breathtaking! 【Sólheimajökull Glacier】 (Sólheimajökull) It is an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull, Iceland’s fourth-largest glacier. This immense glacier is constantly moving and reshaping itself, creating deep crevasses and striking blue ice. You’ll have time to walk up close, experience the glacier’s sheer scale, and learn about its connection to Iceland’s volcanic activity. 【Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach】 (Reynisfjara) One of the world’s most spectacular beaches. Jet-black volcanic sand, towering basalt cliffs, and the crashing waves of the Atlantic make it feel like another planet. Imposing sea stacks rise abruptly from the water just offshore. In summer, puffins and other seabirds nest along the cliffs. The waves here are powerful, so watch your step and take in the raw beauty of this incredible landscape. 【Vík】 (Vík) We’ll take a short break in the picturesque village of Vík, Iceland’s southernmost village. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, this charming village is full of character. 【Skógafoss Waterfall】 (Skógafoss) One of Iceland’s most breathtaking waterfalls. This 65-meter (213-foot) waterfall plunges with tremendous force, creating a constant mist that often forms brilliant rainbows on sunny days. If you’re feeling adventurous, climb the 527 steps to the viewing platform for spectacular views from above. Every step is worth it for this scenery! 【Seljalandsfoss Waterfall】 (Seljalandsfoss) A waterfall like no other, with a hidden path that lets you walk behind the rushing water and see the falls from a completely different perspective. The path can be slippery, but the thrill of standing inside the waterfall is well worth it—just be prepared to get wet! At the end of the tour, we’ll return to Reykjavík city center. *The tour lasts approximately 10 hours No guide information is provided for this route. Please refer to your confirmation for the pickup location.
