Itinerary details
In the morning, depart to explore Spain’s capital, Madrid. Visit landmarks including the Cibeles Fountain, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de España, and the Royal Palace of Madrid. The Royal Palace was built during the height of the Spanish monarchy; its lavish splendor reflects the sacred glow of the empire’s past. The Kilómetro Cero, marking the center of Spain, is a small square tile set into the pedestrian walkway at Puerta del Sol. Lined with shops and department stores, Puerta del Sol is a great place to shop for Spanish leather goods, clothing, and souvenirs. In the afternoon, leave Madrid for Zaragoza. Upon arrival, head straight to Plaza del Pilar. The Basilica-Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar, located in the square, is a Baroque church built between 1681 and 1872. Dedicated to Our Lady of the Pillar, it was called the “Mother of the Spanish People” by the Pope and is regarded as the first Marian shrine in history. Restaurants and cafés line the square, where tour members can enjoy dinner at their leisure. Overnight at a hotel in Zaragoza or nearby. Depart in the morning for Barcelona, Spain’s famous coastal city. Upon arrival, explore the vibrant and charming city, including the Columbus Monument and La Rambla. Then visit Barcelona’s most iconic landmark, the Sagrada Família, the monumental masterpiece of the architectural genius Gaudí, known as the “poet of architecture.” Afterwards, take photos outside Camp Nou and shop for souvenirs (Note: The stadium has been undergoing major renovations since June 2023, expected to last about two years, and is closed to visitors during this time). Itinerary details
Depart in the morning and travel along the coast to Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city. Historically, Valencia served as Spain’s gateway to the Mediterranean and was a center of commerce and culture. Its radiant appeal drew Arab visitors, bringing cultural exchange and commercial reforms that helped Valencia flourish with a prosperity and brilliance unlike that of other cities. Although Valencia has since lost some of its former luster, it remains an important city for trade fairs, with exhibitions held throughout the year. Upon arrival, visit the Old Town’s City Hall Square, the ancient city gates, and Valencia Cathedral. The cathedral’s three entrance portals tell of its long and eventful history, but its most remarkable treasure is the chalice kept in the south chapel, said to be the Holy Grail used at Jesus’ Last Supper. Finally, stop for photos at the City of Arts and Sciences. Afterwards, head to Alicante, a beach resort on the Costa Blanca. Overnight in Alicante or a nearby city.

Day 4
Alicante - Mijas - Granada
Itinerary details
In the morning, depart for Granada, a historic city on the Andalusian plateau. It was ruled at different times by the Visigoths and the Arabs, and was the last stronghold of the Arab Moorish dynasty on the Iberian Peninsula after 800 years of rule. In the 15th century, King Ferdinand successfully expelled the Arabs and completed the unification of Spain, leaving behind traces of diverse civilizations and cultures. Upon arrival, visit the Alhambra (also known as the Red Palace), a legacy of the Moors’ “Golden Age,” or explore Granada’s city center and old town. Its exquisite architecture and refined style are captivating. After the visit, continue to Mijas, the White Hill Town, on an optional group excursion. The flower-filled town has beautiful houses with white walls and red-tiled roofs, spreading along gentle slopes in a pristine white landscape. Overnight at a hotel in Granada or a nearby city. ① During peak season, visitor numbers are controlled and queues can be very long. If you wish to visit the Alhambra, we recommend booking tickets online in advance: https://www.alhambra-patronato.es/ Entry time: between 13:30 and 14:30. ② The Mijas excursion on this day is an optional group activity but is a compulsory paid item on the itinerary. Day 5
Granada - Ronda - Seville
Itinerary details
In the morning, depart on an optional group excursion to Ronda, the hometown of Spanish bullfighters. Ronda has Spain’s oldest bullring, which witnessed the loves and rivalries of matadors of that era. Beneath its seemingly tranquil appearance, Ronda still embodies the most intense Spanish spirit. Its romantic, peaceful white houses perched on an imposing cliff are the finest proof. After the visit, continue to Seville, the soul of Andalusia. Once the capital of a Muslim dynasty and the guardian of Andalusian culture, the city is also the birthplace of flamenco and the setting of the story in the novel Carmen. It is Spain’s fourth-largest city. Upon arrival, visit the 16th-century Seville Cathedral. Its royal chapel contains the tombs of several medieval kings. Beside the main altar is Christopher Columbus’s tomb, honoring the great navigator for discovering the New World. Then visit the Royal Alcázar of Seville, once a Moorish palace and one of the palaces of the Spanish monarchy. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Shaped by both Muslim and Catholic dynasties, its ingenious blend of styles makes it one of the world’s most intricate and beautiful buildings. Afterwards, take a stroll through the Santa Cruz District, past the Torre del Oro, and through María Luisa Park, the site of the 1992 World Expo. The exquisitely detailed ceramic murals in Plaza de España tell the story of Spain’s history and former splendor. Overnight at a hotel in Seville or a nearby city. ① During peak season, visitor numbers are controlled and queues can be very long. If you wish to visit the Royal Alcázar of Seville, we recommend booking tickets online in advance: https://www.alcazarsevilla.org/en/schedules-rates/ Entry time: between 15:00 and 15:30. ② The Ronda excursion on this day is an optional group activity but is a compulsory paid item on the itinerary. We shall have no connection with, and accept no responsibility for, any property loss, accidental death, or additional expenses incurred by participants or guests on the itineraries or brochures as a result of natural or man-made disasters, mechanical failures, traffic delays, fires, strikes, war, political unrest, circumstances beyond our control, or changes to government regulations.
2. The organizations operating the sightseeing transport and hotels used by our company, such as aircraft, ships, trains and buses, each have different rules concerning passenger safety, lost luggage and other matters. Any cases involving lost luggage, accidental injury or death, or property loss will be resolved according to the rules established by the relevant organizations. They are entirely unrelated to our company, which bears no responsibility whatsoever.
3. In exceptional circumstances, such as severe weather, strikes, typhoons, lost documents, hotels unexpectedly announcing that they are fully booked, cancellation or delay of the scheduled flight, political upheaval, epidemics, or any other unforeseen event beyond our control, it may be necessary to change or cancel any part of the itinerary, accommodation, or transportation. Our company reserves the right to make decisions at its sole discretion based on the circumstances at the time. In such cases, participants may not object or claim compensation. Participants are responsible for any resulting losses or additional costs.
4. All tour participants must comply with the laws of each country. Carrying goods for illegal resale or prohibited items is strictly forbidden. 6. If a participant is late for any reason or under any circumstances and misses the flight or bus departure, the Company accepts no responsibility and will not refund any fees.
7. As the bus model may not be suitable for transporting wheelchairs, we regret that we cannot accept bookings from wheelchair users. (Note: For a “Private Tour”, please notify us before requesting a quote.)
8. Our company reserves the right to publish images of participants, and we may take photos and videos of activities during the trip.
9. Important: If, during the trip, travellers accidentally or deliberately damage the tour bus or any facilities within the hotel premises, they will bear full responsibility and must compensate for all related losses. Serious damage may also result in criminal liability under local law. We ask all travellers to take care of public property and enjoy their trip!
3. Important Information for Tour Participants:
1. As luggage compartment space on tour buses is limited, each passenger may bring only one large and one small piece of luggage on board (the large item must not exceed 30 kg or 158 cm in total dimensions). Passengers bringing more than one large and one small item (if there is sufficient room in the luggage compartment) will be charged €5 per additional item per day for the driver’s handling fee (£5 per item on UK tours). We appreciate your understanding.
2. European travel differs from travel in other parts of the world. Most attractions cannot be reached directly by tour bus and must be visited on foot. Travelers with limited mobility may have to wait on the bus at some attractions and may be unable to join the group visit. No compensation or refund may be requested for attractions missed for this reason. Please take note and consider this carefully before booking. Once your booking is confirmed, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.
3. The driver and tour leader work hard throughout the journey to serve all participants, explain the attractions and provide assistance. Please show your appreciation by tipping them before the end of the tour. In keeping with European custom, our company requires each participant to give the driver and tour leader a minimum combined tip of 10 euros / 10 pounds per day.
4. Please present this tour voucher to board at the meeting point. The tour will not wait for late arrivals, and the tour fee will not be refunded. Our company accepts no responsibility. In the event of an emergency, please call the emergency number.
5. Participants are responsible for obtaining and carrying valid travel documents (passport) and visas. These must be valid for at least six months from the departure date. If entry is refused by immigration or customs for any reason, our company accepts no responsibility. Participants are responsible for all resulting losses, and tour fees will not be refunded.
6. Please avoid bringing valuables and expensive jewellery where possible. Keep valuables and travel documents with you and take care of them yourself. The Company, driver and tour leader accept no responsibility for any loss.
7. All tour participants must abide by the laws of each country. Carrying goods for illegal resale or any prohibited items is strictly forbidden. Smoking is prohibited in all public places and indoor premises in Europe, including hotel rooms. Fines may be as high as €1,000, so please comply with local laws. In recent years, visitors have been prohibited from sitting on the ground to rest or eat at some famous European buildings and attractions. This is not only considered disrespectful, but may also result in immediate prosecution.
8. Meals and admission tickets during the itinerary are at your own expense. Please refer to the Spending Guide to estimate costs and bring an adequate amount of local currency for use during the trip. Please bring your own medication if needed.
9. If participants wish to travel independently, return separately or leave the tour partway through for any reason, the Company will assist with arrangements. However, the Company will not be responsible for any direct or indirect costs or losses relating to transport, accommodation or other delays that result in participants missing pre-arranged itinerary items.
10. If any tour participant deliberately obstructs the tour leader’s work, endangers the personal safety of others, or disrupts the normal activities or interests of the group, the tour leader may, depending on the circumstances or with the approval of the majority of participants, cancel that person’s right to continue on the tour and require them to leave the group. No refund will be given for the uncompleted portion of the trip, and the company accepts no responsibility for the participant’s actions after leaving the group.
11. If a flight or bus departure is delayed due to a breakdown or traffic congestion, and the itinerary must be changed or activities canceled, participants may not object or withdraw on these grounds. If bad weather, strikes, or unforeseen accidents cause itinerary delays, participants may not claim compensation or a refund of the tour fee on these grounds.
12. The itinerary is for reference only. The company will make appropriate arrangements and adjustments to the sightseeing schedule and accommodation based on actual circumstances. Activities may also be canceled if attractions are closed for holidays or local festivals. Tour members are expected to accept such changes and may not object.
13. If people who do not know each other share a room, including when the arrangement is made by our company, the participants’ character and conduct are not the company’s responsibility. We will not intervene in any disputes that may arise.
14. The operators of the sightseeing transport and hotels used by our company, such as airlines, shipping companies, railways, and bus operators, each have their own regulations concerning participant safety, lost luggage, and other matters. Cases involving lost luggage, accidental injury or death, and property damage will be handled according to the regulations established by the relevant operators, and are not the company’s responsibility.
15. We recommend that participants take out their own travel accident and luggage insurance. For information about insurance arrangements, please contact the travel agency where you booked or enquire directly with our company.
16. As not all bus models are equipped to carry wheelchairs, we regret that we cannot accept bookings from wheelchair users on group tours. (Note: For private tours, please notify us before requesting a quote.)
17. Temperatures in Europe vary considerably between day and night. The average temperature exceeds 30°C for no more than two months each year, and European countries place a strong emphasis on environmental protection. As a result, some hotels in Europe do not have air conditioning. This does not mean that the hotel facilities are below standard. We appreciate your understanding.
18. Our company has the right to publish images of participants, and we may take photographs and videos during the tour. If you do not wish to appear in them, please avoid the camera.
19. If the tour group is small, goEUgo reserves the right to combine guests speaking different languages on the same tour bus.
