Itinerary details
Meet in Chinatown at 9:00 a.m. and depart. Drive along the highway to the Corinth Canal, where we will make a brief stop. Continue on to Mycenae. Mycenaean civilization was one of the major ancient civilizations, as it was the first advanced and distinctive Greek civilization on the mainland, featuring urban infrastructure, works of art, and Linear B. You will be able to visit the tomb of King Agamemnon. Then head to Nafplio, the first capital after Greece declared independence. The old town features cobbled lanes, Neoclassical architecture, charming shops, and a lovely coastline, perfect for a stroll. Afterwards, continue to Olympia.

Day 2
Olympia - Athens
Itinerary details
Check out at 10:00, then visit Olympia. Olympia was the site of the first Olympic Games in antiquity. The games were held in honor of Zeus and comprised a series of athletic contests in which representatives of all the Greek city-states competed. It was a great honor for a city-state to produce an Olympic champion, whose only prize was an olive branch. Interesting sights at Olympia include the ancient stadium, the Temples of Zeus and Hera, the palaestra, and Phidias' workshop. Return to Athens. Our journey comes to a wonderful end.
