Itinerary details
Monemvasia is one of Greece’s most striking and romantic islands. Its medieval castle is built entirely on the slope of a huge rock and connected to the mainland by just a narrow causeway, which is also the origin of its name. When the sea is clear, you can see the peaks of Crete from the top of Monemvasia. We will meet and depart at 09:00, first heading to Nafplio for sightseeing and lunch. At 12:00, continue to Monemvasia. Arrive at 15:00. Here, you can choose to swim and enjoy the sunny beach, explore Monemvasia Castle, or experience the island’s distinctive nightlife and have dinner amid its enchanting evening lights.
