Important Information for Joining a Tour
To best protect your interests, please read our Booking Information and Terms of Liability carefully. These terms set out important information for travelers departing overseas and, together with our Safety Guidelines for Overseas Travel and Other Important Notes, form part of the travel contract. Our company reserves the right to interpret all content on this website.
(1) Registration Process and Important Notes
Anyone booking through this website must carefully read all terms published on our company website, in the order confirmation, and in the tour notification before booking. Once you submit an order, our company will consider that you have confirmed and fully agreed to the published terms. If travelers breach any of the rules stated in those terms, they bear full responsibility for all resulting consequences.
1. When booking, please first complete the booking form on the website. Carefully fill in and verify all information, including name, gender, ID or passport number, contact details, requested room type, and pick-up and drop-off points. We accept no responsibility for any losses arising from incorrect information entered by the applicant. Once your submission is successful, we will send you a booking confirmation. As coach seats are limited, we will give priority to boarding arrangements based on when payment is received. Please arrange payment within the order’s validity period after verifying that all details are correct. If the tour fee is not paid in full by the deadline, the booking will be considered automatically canceled. We reserve the right to cancel your order without further notice.
2. Members must ensure that 100% of the tour fee is paid more than five business days before departure. As coach seats and hotel rooms are limited, and hotel bookings are often subject to deadlines, members who book within five business days of departure must promptly pay the balance. Otherwise, our agency reserves the right, depending on the circumstances, to hold or cancel such bookings without first obtaining the applicant’s consent. The payer is responsible for any fees incurred in paying the tour fee, regardless of the payment method. After payment, please send proof of payment (the transaction receipt for a bank-counter transfer or a screenshot of the successful online transfer) to our company by email or fax. Be sure to include the relevant booking number in the payment reference; otherwise, our finance department cannot match the payment to the booking. If, because payment was made late, the tour fee has still not reached us two days before the tour ends, we reserve the right to ask the member to provide the corresponding amount in cash as a deposit to the tour guide. If we subsequently confirm that the payment was duplicated, we will promptly refund the overpayment.
3. Once we confirm receipt of a member’s payment, we will confirm their participation in the tour. Three days before departure, members will receive a tour confirmation notice at the email address provided during registration, containing details such as the guide, itinerary, and pick-up and drop-off points. Network delays or spam filters may prevent the notice from arriving. If you have not received it three days before departure, please contact the relevant staff for assistance.
4. By default, our company arranges hotel room types according to members’ requests made at registration. In exceptional cases, room types may change during peak travel seasons if a particular hotel has insufficient rooms or for other reasons beyond our control; members must cooperate with our arrangements. If a room assignment does not meet a participant’s requirements because they entered the wrong gender or room type when registering, our agency will coordinate and make arrangements based on room availability at the hotel on the day of check-in. Any additional costs incurred will be borne by the member.
5. If a tour member needs to leave the tour early due to special circumstances, they must notify us when booking or before joining the tour and sign an “Early Departure Declaration.” For each night of accommodation not used after leaving early, €16 will be deducted (€30 per night for those who booked a single room for the entire tour). No tour fee reduction will be made if no hotel nights are missed. If a tour member requests to leave early during the tour, they must notify the tour guide and sign an “Early Departure Declaration”; fees paid are non-refundable. Tour members must provide accurate health and identity information when booking and during the trip, complete all relevant forms truthfully, and fulfill all legal formalities. Any expenses or losses resulting from personal reasons, such as feeling unwell during the trip, must be borne by the tour member. Visitors with a significant medical history (for example, a serious or terminal illness, or a communicable disease) must disclose this truthfully when booking. In view of a visitor’s health or other circumstances, our company reserves the right to refuse the booking.
6. Tour members aged 70 or over must be accompanied by a family member and complete a “Tour Participation Declaration” when booking. If they insist on booking without a family member, our company reserves the right to refuse the booking, depending on the circumstances. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from their own actions during the trip.
7. If a participant is pregnant, they must disclose this truthfully when booking. As a general rule, we do not recommend participation for anyone more than 24 weeks pregnant. Anyone who insists on booking must be accompanied by a family member and complete a “Liability Waiver,” but our company reserves the right to refuse the booking, depending on the circumstances. Anyone less than 24 weeks pregnant who insists on booking must be accompanied by a family member and complete a “Tour Participation Declaration,” but our company reserves the right to refuse the booking, depending on the circumstances. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from their own actions during the trip.
8. Minors joining the tour must be accompanied by at least one adult, who must fulfill their duty of care and take responsibility for the minor’s safety. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from a minor’s own actions during the trip or from inadequate supervision by the accompanying person.
9. Participants must verify that all information provided for the tour is accurate, especially personal ID details and contact phone numbers. Participants are responsible for all consequences arising from incorrect information they provide (for example, being unable to cross a border because their ID has expired or their visa type does not meet the relevant country’s entry requirements, or a guide and other staff being unable to contact them because they provided an incorrect mobile number). Any resulting personal return travel costs, transportation costs, travel expenses, or other losses must be borne by the participant.
10. Applicants are kindly requested not to book any flights or other tickets related to the tour itinerary before their booking is confirmed. If a participant books flights or other tickets related to the itinerary at their own discretion but is ultimately unable to join the tour, the applicant shall bear all resulting losses.
(2) Tour Price
1. The tour fee includes:
1) Luxury air-conditioned sightseeing coach or other transportation specified in the itinerary.
2) Service throughout the tour by an experienced Chinese-speaking tour leader, who will lead the sightseeing tours.
2. Not included in the price:
1) Tips for the driver, tour guide, and others.
2) All meal expenses during the itinerary.
3) Expenses during free time.
4) Admission tickets, boat tickets, and bridge tolls for optional activities listed in the itinerary.
5) Personal expenses incurred by tour members during the trip, such as non-complimentary meals on transportation; excess baggage fees; laundry, telephone, telegram, beverage, and alcoholic drink charges during accommodation; hotel costs for extended stays; medical expenses for personal illness or injury; and fees or rewards for recovering lost personal belongings.
6) Fees for medical insurance, personal accident insurance, and baggage insurance.
7) Additional costs arising from force majeure beyond our company’s control, such as weather, traffic delays, strikes, transportation breakdowns, or personal issues.
8) All expenses incurred after leaving the tour.
9) Other items not included in the above “What’s Included” section.
Our company reserves the right of final interpretation regarding any other fees not listed above.
(3) Tour Member Responsibilities
1. Participants must not engage in illegal activities during the tour.
2. When exercising their rights, participants must not harm the interests of the state, society, or the collective, or the lawful rights and interests of others.
3. Observe public order and respect social norms. Members should respect the dignity of tourism service staff and show mutual respect and cooperation with other group members; respect local customs, traditions, and ways of life; and refrain from defacing scenic sites or buildings, spitting, littering, or other uncivilized behavior.
4. Make an effort to learn what you need to know for your trip and strengthen your awareness of personal safety. Tour members may choose and purchase personal accident insurance and other insurance at their own discretion. During the trip, please take good care of your luggage and belongings; keep valuables with you or take other protective measures.
5. When traveling, please pay attention to the local weather and take care to keep children safe.
6. If a tour member voluntarily takes part in a dangerous activity included in the official itinerary, such as rock climbing, mountaineering, rafting, scuba diving, or bungee jumping, which may cause personal injury, they are solely responsible for any resulting disputes, property loss, or personal injury. Our company bears no responsibility.
(4) Responsibilities
1. We reserve the right to change the accommodation, travel route, sightseeing attractions, and departure date as circumstances require.
2. If there are not enough participants, or changes occur beyond our control, such as problems with a ship or aircraft, our company reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary. If the tour is cancelled, we will refund all fees paid by members or recommend a similar replacement product. Our company shall not be liable for cancelling any itinerary.
3. In the event of civil unrest, terrorist activity, a major infectious disease outbreak, natural disasters, other acts of God, disturbances, murder, riots, war, or other disasters beyond our control that may seriously endanger members’ safety, as well as unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic, or strikes, our company may cancel or replace any tour activity before or after departure, or shorten or extend the trip, but must notify members in advance. We shall not be responsible for any resulting additional expenses or losses, and members may not object or withdraw on these grounds.
4. As public safety conditions vary from country to country, please take care of your personal safety and observe traffic safety rules. Keep your belongings and luggage secure. If anything is lost or damaged during the trip due to loss, theft, robbery, or other incidents, please notify the tour leader and report it to the police promptly. Our company accepts no legal liability.
5. Tour members must carry a valid passport and identification documents at all times. If a tour member has to leave the tour midway because of a problem with their documents or passport, they are responsible for this, and the remaining tour fees are non-refundable. If this affects the normal itinerary of other tour members, the member must pay the corresponding compensation.
6. If a tour member is involved in an accident during the itinerary (for example, an accident while taking part in an entertainment or game activity, or illness, death, a fall, or injury resulting from personal activities, or a breach of the clauses and instructions set out in our company’s terms), the tour member is solely responsible for any resulting personal injury or property loss and the related costs. Our company accepts no responsibility for such injury or loss. The tour member must compensate our company for any losses caused as a result.
7. If a tour member deliberately fails to follow the rules or disrupts the group’s normal activities and interests, our tour leader may cancel their participation in the tour. Fees paid will not be refunded, and our company is not responsible for the member’s actions after they leave the tour.
8. Times shown in the itinerary are for reference only. Actual arrival times may be delayed due to various circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, traffic congestion, traffic accidents, holiday events, unrest, or strikes. We appreciate your understanding. If tour members have onward travel plans involving other transportation to another city, we strongly recommend allowing at least 3 hours of extra time to avoid inconvenience caused by itinerary delays. Our company accepts no responsibility for losses arising from onward travel arrangements made without allowing sufficient extra time.
(5) Overseas Travel Safety Guidelines and Other Important Notes
To best protect your interests, please read our Safety Guidelines for Overseas Travel and Other Important Notes carefully. These guidelines set out important information for travelers departing overseas and, together with our Booking Information and Terms of Liability, form part of the travel contract.
I. Helpful Tips
1. Most attractions in Europe offer student discounts; students are advised to bring their student cards.
2. Plug standards vary across European countries (for example, Italy and Switzerland use different plugs from Germany). Please bring different plug adapters if needed.
3. For safety reasons, European coach operators require every child, regardless of age, to occupy a seat. As most coaches do not provide child safety seats, parents bringing children under the age of 3 may bring their own. However, each child safety seat occupies one coach seat, and we cannot guarantee that all privately supplied safety seats will be suitable for the tour coach. Please take note.
II. Safety Guidelines
Clothing
1. The weather in Europe is changeable. Please be sure to bring rain gear and a warm jacket.
2. Please keep your belongings and luggage safe. Our company accepts no responsibility for loss or theft.
3. Clearly label your luggage with your name and contact details for identification and return if it is found after being lost. If your luggage is lost, notify the relevant organizations (such as the hotel or airline) and the police as soon as possible. If it cannot be recovered, keep the police report to support a claim with the relevant organization or insurance company (if you purchased insurance).
Meals
1. The tour guide will do their best to help participants who need it arrange Chinese group meals. If there are not enough diners to arrange a group meal, or if a Chinese meal cannot be arranged due to holidays, business hours, or other reasons (such as the absence of Chinese restaurants in a small town), the guide will do their best to help guests arrange fast food, Western food, or meals at a supermarket or accommodation hotel. Please understand that meals arranged as required by the itinerary may not meet every participant’s preferences. Participants are advised to bring bottled water and snacks in case of need.
2. Do not drink unsafe water or eat unhygienic, spoiled, or foul-smelling food. When visiting areas with poor sanitation, choose thoroughly cooked food and packaged drinks.
3. Do not accept or consume cigarettes, food, or drinks offered by strangers.
4. To prevent discomfort from unfamiliar food or water during your trip, bring any medicines you commonly use. If you have a chronic illness, carry your medical records in case they are needed. Do not take medicines provided by others without permission.
5. Our agency does not provide or arrange alcoholic drinks. Tour members who enjoy drinking must strictly limit their alcohol consumption during the trip. Anyone who gets drunk and causes a disturbance, disrupts public order, infringes on others’ rights, or causes financial losses to a third party will be solely responsible for all resulting consequences.
Accommodation
1. Hotel facilities:
① European cities are relatively small, with very limited numbers of hotels in city centers. Hotels are generally small, and their facilities may be older and not up to the standard of comparable hotels in China.
② European hotels do not provide everyday items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, or kettles. Please bring your own.
③ In the event of a trade fair or other major event, we reserve the right to choose the hotel’s star rating.
④ If you book a hotel through our company that is not in a city where an overnight stay is scheduled as part of the itinerary, our company reserves the right to select the hotel’s star rating.
2. Hotel meals:
① European hotel rooms do not provide hot drinking water.
② Hotel food differs considerably from food in China. Breakfast is generally simple (German breakfasts are more substantial, while Italian breakfasts are the simplest, consisting only of bread and coffee). Lunch and dinner are also not particularly substantial, and their quantity and quality differ considerably from what you may be used to at home.
3. Hotel room type:
① A triple room has one double bed and one single bed, and is permitted only for two adults traveling with one child under 14.
② For individual travelers, we arrange room sharing in twin rooms. If there is a single man or single woman, we will try to pair them with another participant of the same gender or arrange an extra bed. Please cooperate if married couples need to be accommodated in separate rooms. Anyone left with a single room when rooms are finally assigned must pay the single-room supplement in advance. We will do our best to find you a roommate; if one is found before departure, the full single-room supplement will be refunded.
4. Hotel safety tips:
① Please look after your valuables carefully and do not leave them in your hotel room. Avoid carrying large amounts of cash or expensive watches or jewelry. Keep your travel documents and belongings safe, and carry a photocopy set of your travel documents and credit cards to use when applying for replacements if they are lost.
② Please take good care of your belongings and luggage. We accept no responsibility for loss or theft.
③ Please do not smoke in your hotel room. Any resulting hotel fines must be paid by the person responsible.
④ After checking into your hotel, familiarize yourself with the hotel’s safety information. Check whether the room windows can be opened and where the firefighting equipment is located. Learn the locations of the hotel’s emergency exits and stairways, as well as the evacuation routes.
⑤ Check that all the items provided in your hotel room are present and undamaged. If anything is missing or damaged, report it immediately to hotel staff or your tour guide.
⑥ Do not casually tell strangers the name of your hotel or room number. Do not allow strangers or anyone claiming to be hotel maintenance staff to enter your room. Lock the door whenever you enter or leave, and before going to sleep check that the door and windows are closed and the security lock is engaged. Keep your belongings close to you; do not leave them near a window or on the floor.
⑦ If you need to leave the hotel after checking in, inform your tour guide and obtain a hotel key card from the front desk. The card shows the hotel’s address and phone number, which you can use to ask for help if you get lost.
Transport
1. Boarding and alighting:
① All tour participants must assemble on time and depart promptly. Please arrive at the pickup point 15 minutes in advance. Our tour buses will not wait. Anyone who fails to assemble and depart at the agreed time and place, and is unable to join the tour en route, will be considered to have withdrawn voluntarily, and no refund will be given.
② Pickup and drop-off times shown on the website are estimates. The exact pickup and drop-off locations are subject to our confirmation. If traffic or other exceptional circumstances prevent our bus from arriving at the pickup point on time, or the time changes at short notice, we will notify you promptly. Please wait patiently.
③ Vehicles include large coaches, minibuses, and 9-seat minibuses. Large coaches generally have a dedicated luggage compartment, while minibuses and 9-seat minibuses have less luggage space. As bus luggage compartments have limited capacity, we recommend bringing as little luggage as possible.
④ To avoid excessive congestion near attractions, buses in most European cities must park some distance from the attractions, and drivers are not allowed to stop wherever they wish. Violations may incur heavy fines. Sometimes the drop-off and pickup points are some distance from the attractions. We appreciate your understanding.
2. Coach travel safety information:
① Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle.
② Do not bring prohibited items.
③ Do not handle anything in the vehicle unnecessarily, to avoid causing damage.
④ While the bus is temporarily stopped, follow the guide’s instructions and do not go far away.
⑤ When getting off the coach to sightsee, dine, or shop, please remember to close the coach windows and take your valuables with you. The travel agency accepts no responsibility for items that are lost or stolen.
⑥ As the journey is very long and the vehicles are heavily loaded, the itinerary may be affected if a vehicle breaks down. In that event, the travel agency will promptly take remedial measures. Please cooperate.
III. Other Information and Important Notes
1. Please comply with local laws and regulations.
2. Be sure to carry the relevant documents and a valid passport with you.
3. During group activities, follow the tour leader’s/guide’s instructions and avoid leaving the group for your safety.
4. Before taking part in any high-risk activity, you must assess your health and abilities and follow the relevant safety instructions, such as wearing a life jacket, fastening a seat belt, and wearing suitable or required clothing. We strongly advise tour members to avoid these activities during free time on the trip. If you insist on participating, you do so at your own risk.
5. Do not take part in entertainment activities that may be illegal.
6. Pay attention to and heed all warnings. For example, do not walk around freely or feed the animals in wildlife parks.
7. Be especially vigilant when visiting areas with poor public safety, and avoid going out alone.
