Travel tips
Winter Tips for Iceland What to Wear (Warm, Waterproof, Windproof, and Lightweight) Iceland’s climate is quite different from what many people are used to. Its polar climate is changeable, and storms are especially common in winter. When it is windy and rainy, temperatures can suddenly drop to a few degrees below zero, so a down jacket is essential. When choosing clothes, prioritize warmth, along with windproof and waterproof features. Iceland is windy all year round. Wear a hat and scarf to keep your head and neck warm, and be sure to bring gloves as well. Sunglasses or glasses can help protect your eyes from glare off the snow and from strong winds. Clothing recommendations: Layer 1: A lightweight thermal base-layer set (top and bottoms). Quick-drying ski wear is also a good choice; Layer 2: A fleece jacket and a lightweight, thin down jacket; Layer 3: A down jacket, or a soft-shell or hard-shell waterproof and windproof jacket, or a ski jacket will all work. Choose layers that are easy to adjust. Bright colors look better in photos. Shoes: If possible, bring outdoor hiking boots (mid- or high-cut). They provide effective warmth, rain protection and grip, and protect your ankles. Swimwear: Swimwear is required for the Blue Lagoon hot springs. Some hotels also offer free communal hot baths (similar to small hot springs), so be sure to bring a swimsuit. Payment: You do not need to bring a lot of cash. Apart from optional activities, €100 per person is sufficient. Credit cards: We recommend bringing one. Most local shops, restaurants, convenience stores, public transport and taxis accept credit cards, as do public restrooms. If you have a credit card, you do not need to bring Icelandic króna in cash.

Day 2
Reykjavik - Snæfellsnes - Reykjavik
Itinerary details
After breakfast, depart from the hotel for the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland, often called “Iceland in Miniature” for its diverse landscapes and the chance to experience Iceland’s beauty in a single day. First, visit 【Kirkjufell (Church Mountain, also known as Hat Mountain)】. A favorite landmark among photographers, it is easy to see how the mountain got its name from its shape. Next, head to 【Lóndrangar sea cliffs】, where giant basalt columns stand proudly along the coast, showcasing the extraordinary formations of Iceland’s volcanic rock. After the tour, visit the storybook seaside village of 【Arnarstapi】, where you can enjoy lunch while taking in the scenery. Then visit the famous black wooden church on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, 【Búðakirkja (Budir Black Church)】. Set against the surrounding snowy mountains and waterfalls, it seems to stand apart from the world. After the visit, return to your hotel in Reykjavík.

Reykjavik - Golden Circle - Kerið Crater Lake - Southern town
Itinerary details
Depart from Reykjavík in the morning to visit the three famous Golden Circle attractions, as well as the lesser-known Kerið crater lake. 【Þingvellir National Park】 is the only site on mainland Iceland recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and is the former site of Iceland’s parliament. 【Geysir】 eruptions last about 1–2 minutes before gradually subsiding. This spectacular process repeats over and over. 【Gullfoss】 has two tiers, with immense volumes of water roaring down into the gorge. When sunlight strikes the spray, it refracts into a rainbow that glows like polished gold, giving the waterfall its name. We will also visit 【Kerið crater lake】 (admission included), famous for its green water and colorful crater slopes. Kerið was formed during a volcanic eruption about 3,000 years ago and has the shape of a perfect inverted cone. Overnight in a town in the south. *If weather conditions permit, you may be able to see the Northern Lights near the hotel that evening.

Day 4
Southern Town - Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon - Ice Cave - Southern Town
Itinerary details
After breakfast, visit 【Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon】 and 【Diamond Beach】. On sunny days, sunlight reflecting off the ice on the beach makes it sparkle like diamonds. Depending on the weather and schedule, you can also join the 【Blue Ice Cave Adventure】 (optional; available only from October to April). On the way to the ice cave, we will cross ever-changing glacial landscapes and admire deep crevasses and incredible ice formations. After a glacier hike, we will visit a mysterious blue ice cave (the cave visited may vary depending on conditions). These caves form naturally and change shape every year—that is part of their appeal. Afterward, head to your hotel in a town in the south. *If weather conditions permit, you may be able to see the Northern Lights near the hotel that evening. Recommended activity ★ 3-hour Blue Ice Cave Adventure €155 (transportation, English-speaking guide, glacier gear and safety equipment included) Set off on an adventure into the mysterious blue ice caves of Vatnajökull National Park, one of Iceland’s stunning natural wonders. Begin at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and travel by Super Jeep into the rugged wilderness of Vatnajökull National Park. During the approximately 30-minute drive, enjoy Iceland’s spectacular natural scenery. Once you reach the glacier, your guide will provide the necessary safety equipment and lead you into a dreamlike crystal-blue ice cave. A photographer’s paradise, it offers countless opportunities for stunning photos of its translucent blue ice and surreal scenery. Spend about 30 minutes exploring this natural masterpiece and immersing yourself in the magic of the blue ice cave. Then take the Super Jeep back along a scenic route to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, bringing this unforgettable adventure to a perfect close.

Day 5
Southern Town - Vík - South Coast Scenery - Reykjavík
Itinerary details
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Eldhraun, a lava field formed by lava flows following a volcanic eruption. Pass through Vik, a town at the southern tip of Iceland’s main island. On a hilltop in town stands a red-roofed church, both charming and romantic. Next, visit the famous south-coast destination Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, where the basalt columns make a spectacular photo backdrop. Then we’ll visit the apocalyptic-looking DC-3 plane wreck. You can choose to take the shuttle bus or go on an ATV adventure at your own expense. Although the plane wreck resulted from an aviation accident, no one was injured, and it has since become a distinctive man-made attraction. Weathered by the elements, the aircraft is increasingly battered, yet has a beauty all its own. We’ll then drive to the two great waterfalls of the south, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, where you can take in the region’s magnificent yet gentle scenery. Don’t forget to admire the waterfalls from different angles to see their varied beauty. Afterward, return to your hotel in Reykjavík. Recommended activity (choose one of two) ★ Option 1: Round-trip shuttle to the plane wreck [€25] Explore Iceland’s famous plane wreck by shuttle bus. The round trip is 4 km and takes nearly 2 hours on foot, while the shuttle takes only 10–15 minutes each way, saving you time. ★ Option 2: 2-hour ATV adventure to the black sand beach and plane wreck [€169] Set off on an ATV adventure at the foot of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Take in views of the black sand desert, the Atlantic Ocean, and peaceful valleys. Ride across the magnificent black sand plains of Sólheimasandur. Cross this desert-like landscape and stop in front of the DC-3 plane that crashed in the desert in 1973. The activity lasts 2 hours and includes one ATV for every two people, an English-speaking guide, a thermal suit, a helmet, and a face covering. All drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and be at least 17 years old.
Important notes
*Please note: This price is for 2 people sharing one ATV and taking turns driving. A €60 supplement applies for single-person use. The price for child passengers aged 8–16 is €119.

(I) Registration Process and Important Notes
If you book through this website, please carefully read all the terms and conditions published on our company website, in the order confirmation and in the pre-tour notice. By submitting your order, you confirm that you have read and fully agree to the terms and conditions published by our company. If a tour participant violates any of the stated rules, they are responsible for all resulting consequences.
1. To book, first complete the booking form on the webpage. Carefully fill in and check that all information is correct, including names, gender, document numbers, contact details, room type, and pick-up and drop-off points. We accept no responsibility for any losses resulting from booking information entered incorrectly by the customer. Once your submission is successful, we will send you a booking confirmation. As seating on tour buses is limited, we will prioritize boarding arrangements according to when payment is received. The vehicle will be selected based on the group size, and one seat per person is guaranteed. After checking that all details are correct, please arrange payment within the validity period of your booking. If the tour fee is not paid in full by the deadline, your booking will be treated as canceled automatically. We reserve the right to cancel your booking without further notice.
2. Once the group departure has been confirmed, tour members must pay 100% of the tour price within the order hold period. As coach seats and hotel rooms are limited and hotel bookings are often subject to deadlines, tour members booking within five working days of departure must promptly complete payment. Otherwise, our company reserves the right, depending on the circumstances, to hold or cancel such orders without first obtaining the applicant’s consent. Any fees incurred when paying the tour price by any method must be borne by the payer. After payment, please send proof of payment (the transaction slip for a bank-counter transfer or a screenshot of the successful online transfer) to our company by email or fax. If we later confirm that the payment was made twice, our company will immediately refund the excess amount.
3. Our company will confirm your tour booking once we have confirmed receipt of your payment. Three days before departure, you will receive a tour confirmation notice at the email address provided when booking. It will include details such as the guide, itinerary, and pickup and drop-off points for your reference. Due to network delays or spam filters, you may not receive the notice 3 days before departure. If this happens, please contact the relevant staff member for assistance.
4. Our company will arrange room sharing by gender by default. When assigning hotel room types according to members’ requests made at the time of booking, if a solo traveler or an odd-numbered group (such as 3, 5, or 7 people) books, we will arrange room sharing according to the circumstances. If you do not wish to share a room, you may pay the additional single-room supplement. In special circumstances, such as during peak travel season when a particular hotel has insufficient rooms, or due to other uncontrollable factors, room types may change, and group members must cooperate with our arrangements. If the room assignment at the hotel does not meet your requirements because you entered the wrong gender or room type when booking, our agency will coordinate and make arrangements based on room availability on the day of check-in. Any additional costs incurred will be borne by the group member.
Note: Although our company arranges shared rooms for travelers who do not know each other, the personalities and conduct of the group members are unrelated to our company. In the event of differences in habits or disputes, neither our company nor the tour guide is responsible for mediating or getting involved.

If a tour member needs to leave the group partway through the trip due to special circumstances, they must notify us when booking or before joining the tour and sign a “Mid-Tour Departure Declaration.” For each night of accommodation missed after leaving early, €30 will be deducted (or €50 per night if a single room was booked for the entire trip). No tour fee reduction will apply if no hotel nights are missed. If a tour member requests to leave the group partway through the trip, they must notify the tour guide and sign a “Mid-Tour Departure Declaration”; fees paid are non-refundable. Tour members must provide accurate information about their health, identity, and other relevant matters when booking and during the trip, complete the required forms truthfully, and fulfill all legal formalities. Tour members are responsible for any expenses and losses arising from personal reasons, such as feeling unwell during the trip. Travelers with a significant medical history (for example, those with serious or terminal illnesses, or communicable diseases) must disclose this truthfully when booking. In view of a traveler’s health or other circumstances, our company reserves the right to refuse the booking.
6. Travelers aged 70 or over must be accompanied by a family member and complete the “Tour Participation Declaration” when booking. If a traveler insists on booking without a family member, our company reserves the right to refuse the booking at its discretion. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from their own actions during the trip.
7. Pregnant travelers must disclose their pregnancy truthfully when booking. As a general rule, travelers who are more than 24 weeks pregnant are not advised to join the tour. Those who insist on booking must be accompanied by a family member and complete the “Liability Waiver”; however, our company reserves the right to refuse the booking at its discretion. Travelers who are less than 24 weeks pregnant and insist on booking must be accompanied by a family member and complete the “Tour Participation Declaration”; however, our company reserves the right to refuse the booking at its discretion. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from their own actions during the trip.
8. Minors joining the tour must be accompanied by at least one adult, who must fulfill their guardianship duties and be responsible for the minor’s safety. Tour members are responsible for all consequences arising from a minor’s own actions during the trip or from inadequate supervision by the accompanying adult.
9. Tour members must ensure that all information provided for joining the tour is accurate, especially personal identification details and contact telephone numbers. Tour members are solely responsible for any consequences resulting from incorrect information they provide (for example, being unable to cross a border because personal documents have expired or the visa type does not meet the relevant country’s entry requirements, or the tour guide and other relevant staff being unable to contact a tour member because they provided an incorrect mobile number). Any resulting costs or losses, including personal return travel costs, transport fees, and travel expenses, must be borne by the tour member.
10. Applicants must not independently book any flights or other transport tickets related to the tour before their booking is confirmed. If applicants book such tickets at their own discretion but are ultimately unable to join the tour, they are responsible for all resulting losses.
11. The travel agency may terminate the contract if a participant falls into any of the following circumstances, unless otherwise provided by relevant laws or administrative regulations: (1) They have an infectious disease or other illness that may endanger the health and safety of other participants; (2) They carry items that threaten public safety and refuse to hand them over to the relevant authorities; (3) They engage in illegal activities or activities that violate public morals; (4) They engage in activities that seriously affect the rights and interests of other parties and refuse to heed warnings or stop; (5) Other circumstances specified by law that affect the performance of the contract. If the travel agency terminates the contract for any of the above reasons, it must notify the participant in writing or by other means. After deducting necessary expenses at its discretion, it will refund the remaining balance to the participant.

(III) Tour Member Responsibilities
1. Participants must not engage in illegal activities during the tour.
2. When exercising their rights, tour members must not harm the interests of the country, society, or the collective, or the lawful rights and interests of others.
3. Observe public order and respect social ethics. Group members should respect the dignity of tourism service personnel and show mutual respect and support for other group members. Respect local customs, traditions, and ways of life. Do not carve or draw on scenery or buildings, spit, litter, or engage in other uncivilized behavior.
4. Make an effort to learn what you need to know for your trip and strengthen your awareness of personal safety. We recommend that group members select and purchase travel accident insurance and other insurance themselves. During the trip, keep your belongings safe and carry valuables with you or take other protective measures. Unless a group member specifically requests otherwise, the travel agency will assume that the member has purchased overseas travel insurance independently and will not be responsible for any consequences arising from a customer’s failure to purchase insurance. (Note: The insurance referred to here means overseas travel insurance only. Transportation and leisure activities include the relevant insurance required by local law; this insurance is not covered by overseas travel insurance.)
5. Please check the local weather when traveling and take care to keep children safe.
6. If tour members voluntarily take part in hazardous activities included in a regular tour itinerary, including rock climbing, mountaineering, rafting, diving, and bungee jumping, which may cause personal injury, they are solely responsible for any related disputes, property losses, or personal injuries, and our company bears no liability.
(IV) Liability
1. We reserve the right to change accommodation, travel routes, the order of visits, attractions, and departure dates as circumstances require.
2. If participant numbers are insufficient, or if changes beyond our control occur, such as problems with a ship or aircraft, our company reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary. If the itinerary is canceled, we will refund all fees paid by tour members or recommend a similar alternative product. Our company is not liable for canceling any itinerary.
3. In the event of social unrest, terrorist activities, a serious infectious disease outbreak, natural disasters, calamities, riots, murder, rebellions, war, or other events beyond our company’s control that may seriously endanger the personal safety of group members, as well as unforeseen circumstances such as weather, transportation disruptions, or strikes, our company reserves the right to cancel or replace any tour activity before or after departure, and to shorten or extend the trip, provided that group members are notified in advance. Our company shall not be liable for any resulting additional expenses or losses, and group members may not object or withdraw on these grounds.
4. As public safety conditions vary from country to country, please take care of your personal and traffic safety, and keep your belongings and luggage secure. If anything is lost or damaged during the trip as a result of loss, theft, robbery, or other incidents, please notify the tour leader and report it to the police promptly. Our company accepts no legal liability.
5. Tour members must carry a valid passport, visa pages, residence permit, and other required documents at all times. If a tour member has to leave the group partway through the trip because of a problem with their documents or passport, they are responsible for this, and the remaining tour fee is non-refundable. If this disrupts the normal itinerary for other tour members, the tour member must pay the relevant compensation.
6. If a tour member suffers personal injury or property loss during the trip as a result of an accident (such as an incident while taking part in an entertainment or game activity, or illness, death, a fall, or injury caused by personal activities, or a violation of the terms and conditions or instructions set out by our company), the tour member is responsible for all related liability and costs. Our company accepts no responsibility for such injury, death, or property loss. Tour members must compensate our company for any resulting losses.
7. If a tour member deliberately fails to follow the rules or disrupts the group’s normal activities or interests, our company’s tour leader has the right to cancel their participation in the tour. Fees paid will not be refunded, and our company accepts no responsibility for the tour member’s actions after they leave the group.
8. All times shown in the itinerary are approximate. Actual arrival times may be delayed due to various force majeure circumstances, such as weather, traffic congestion, traffic accidents, holiday events, riots, or strikes. Thank you for your understanding. If tour members have onward travel plans requiring other forms of transport to another city, we strongly recommend allowing at least 3 hours of extra time to avoid inconvenience from delays to the itinerary. Our company accepts no responsibility for losses arising from tour members making their own travel arrangements without allowing sufficient extra time.
(V) Overseas Travel Safety Guidelines and Other Important Notes
1. Helpful information
1. Some attractions in Europe offer student discounts. Students are advised to bring their student cards.
2. Plug standards vary across European countries (for example, plugs in Italy and Switzerland differ from those used in Germany). Please bring the appropriate travel adapters if needed.
3. For safety reasons, European coach operators require children of all ages to occupy a seat. As most coaches do not provide child safety seats, parents traveling with children under 3 may bring their own. However, each child safety seat occupies one coach seat, and we cannot guarantee that all personal safety seats will be suitable for use on tour coaches. Please take note.
II. Safety Information
Clothing
1. European weather is changeable, so be sure to bring rain gear and a warm jacket.
2. Please take good care of your belongings and luggage. Our company accepts no responsibility for loss or theft.
3. Clearly label your luggage with your name and contact details for identification and return if it is found after being lost. If your luggage is lost, notify the relevant organizations (such as the hotel or airline) and the police as soon as possible. If it cannot ultimately be recovered, keep the police report so you can file a claim with the relevant organization or your insurance company (if you have purchased insurance).
Food
1. Hotel breakfast: Breakfast in Europe is usually simple. Hotel breakfasts typically consist of bread, coffee, tea, juice, etc. The hotels we arrange all include a buffet breakfast;
2. Bring bottled water and snacks such as dried food with you in case of need, especially for seniors and children.
3. Do not drink water that is not clean or eat food that is unhygienic, has an unusual odor, or has spoiled.
4. Do not accept or consume cigarettes, food, or drinks offered by strangers.
5. To prevent discomfort from unfamiliar food or surroundings while traveling, bring any medicines you regularly use or commonly take. Travelers with chronic illnesses should bring their medical records in case they are needed. Never take medicines provided by others without careful consideration.
6. Our agency does not provide or arrange alcoholic drinks. Tour members who choose to drink during the trip must strictly limit their alcohol consumption. Anyone who causes trouble while intoxicated, disrupts public order, infringes on others’ rights, or causes property loss to a third party is solely responsible for all resulting consequences.
Accommodation
1. Hotel facilities:
① European cities are relatively small, and centrally located hotels are extremely limited in number and modest in size. Their facilities are often older and may not be up to the standard of comparable hotels in China.
② European hotels do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. Please bring your own personal essentials.
③ Check that all the items provided in your hotel room are present and undamaged. If anything is missing or damaged, report it to hotel staff or your tour guide immediately.
④ For various reasons, such as environmental considerations, the age of the buildings, and Europe’s relatively cool climate, many hotels do not have air conditioning.
⑤ Hotel buildings in Italy are relatively old and generally use blankets, which are usually kept in the room’s wardrobe. If there are none, please contact the front desk to request some.
⑥ If needed, please bring your own compact travel hair dryer.
⑦ German-style double beds often consist of one large bed with two sets of bedding. This bed arrangement is common in much of Europe, whether travelers prefer one large bed or two single beds.
2. Hotel meals:
① European hotel rooms do not provide hot drinking water.
② Please cherish food. Do not waste or take it away.
③ Breakfast hours vary between hotels in Europe. Be sure to arrive at the restaurant early enough to eat at the time specified by the hotel, so that a late arrival for personal reasons does not leave you without enough food.
④ Hotel dining differs somewhat from what you may be used to in China. Breakfast is fairly simple (German breakfasts are more substantial, while Italian breakfasts are the simplest, consisting only of bread and coffee). Lunch and dinner are also not particularly lavish, and their quantity and quality may be considerably below domestic standards.
3. Hotel safety tips:
① Please keep your valuables safe and do not leave them in your hotel room. Avoid carrying large amounts of cash or expensive watches and jewelry. Keep your travel documents and belongings secure, and carry a photocopy of your travel documents and credit cards in case you need to replace them if lost. Our company accepts no responsibility for loss or theft. ② Please do not smoke in your hotel room. Any resulting hotel fines must be paid by the person responsible.
③ After checking into the hotel, familiarize yourself with the hotel’s safety information. Check whether the room windows can be opened and where the fire-fighting equipment is located. Familiarize yourself with the hotel’s emergency exits, safety stairways, and evacuation routes.
④ Do not tell strangers which hotel or room you are staying in. Do not let strangers or anyone claiming to be hotel maintenance staff enter your room. Lock the door whenever you leave or enter, and before going to bed, check that the door and windows are closed and the safety lock is engaged. Keep your belongings close to you and do not leave them near the window or on the floor.
⑤ If you need to go out after checking into the hotel, inform your tour guide and pick up a hotel business card from the front desk. It has the hotel’s address and phone number, which you can use to ask for help if you get lost.
Travel
1. Boarding and alighting:
① All tour participants must gather on time and depart promptly. Please arrive at the pick-up point 15 minutes in advance. Our tour buses will not wait. Anyone who fails to gather and depart at the agreed time and place, and cannot join the tour en route, will be considered to have withdrawn voluntarily, and no refund will be given.
② The pick-up and drop-off times shown on the webpage are estimates. The exact pick-up and drop-off locations are subject to confirmation by our company. (If traffic or other exceptional circumstances prevent our bus from arriving at the pick-up point on time, or the schedule changes at short notice, our company will notify you promptly. Please wait patiently.)
③ Coaches come in three types: large coaches, minibuses, and 9-seat minibuses. Large coaches generally have dedicated luggage compartments, while minibuses and 9-seat minibuses have relatively little luggage space. As bus luggage compartments are limited in capacity, we recommend bringing as little luggage as possible. Our company will arrange vehicles according to the final group size, ensuring one seat per person.
④ To prevent overcrowding near attractions, coaches in most European cities must park some distance away, and drivers are not allowed to stop wherever they like. Violations incur heavy fines, so the drop-off and pick-up points may be some distance from the attractions. We appreciate your understanding.
2. Safety tips for traveling by coach:
① Smoking is prohibited on the bus.
② Please do not bring prohibited items.
③ Do not tamper with anything on the vehicle to avoid unnecessary damage.
④ While the coach is temporarily stopped, follow your guide’s instructions and do not wander far away.
⑤ When leaving the coach to visit attractions, dine, or shop, make sure the coach windows are closed and take your valuables with you. The travel agency accepts no responsibility for items that are lost or stolen.
⑥ As the journey is long and the vehicle is under considerable strain, if the vehicle breaks down and affects the itinerary, the travel agency will promptly take remedial measures. We ask group members to cooperate.
III. Other Information and Important Notes
1. Please comply with local laws and regulations.
2. Be sure to carry your relevant documents and valid passport with you.
3. During group activities, follow the tour leader’s/guide’s instructions and avoid leaving the group for your safety.
4. Before taking part in any high-risk activities, you must assess your personal health and abilities and follow the relevant safety instructions, such as wearing a life jacket, fastening a seat belt, and wearing suitable or required clothing. We strongly advise tour members to avoid these activities during free time on the trip. If you choose to participate despite this advice, you do so at your own risk.
5. Do not take part in entertainment activities that may be illegal.
6. Pay attention to and heed all warnings. For example, do not wander around or feed animals in wildlife parks.
7. Take extra care when visiting areas with poor public safety conditions, and avoid going out alone.
