Itinerary details
After meeting up, head to a distinctive winery tucked deep among the vineyards. Warmly welcomed by the winery owner, you’ll tour the cellars and learn about the traditions and winemaking techniques behind Chianti wines. Afterward, enjoy delicious snacks made with local ingredients, accompanied by the winery’s own extra virgin olive oil. You’ll also taste 3 to 4 hand-picked wines produced at the winery, including red and white Chianti wines. If you find a wine you love, you can purchase it on-site to take home or arrange to have it shipped. Next, head to a second picturesque winery, passing through olive groves, vineyards, and rolling hills to experience the authentic Tuscan countryside. Here, you’ll enjoy local snacks again and taste 3 to 4 hand-picked Chianti wines. The winery owner will also introduce the characteristics of different wines and share tasting tips, giving you a deeper understanding of Chianti wines by the end of the tour. In addition, you can stroll among the vineyards and wineries, wandering leisurely through postcard-perfect scenery of cypress trees, olive trees, rolling hills, and grapevines, and fully enjoy the peace and charm of the Tuscan countryside. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture this fairytale-like journey through Chianti and preserve wonderful memories. Approximate duration: 5 hours 15 minutes
