Day 3
Singapore city area - Singapore–Malaysia border crossing - Melaka
Itinerary details
Meet at 09:00 with all your luggage, then travel by vehicle to 【Merlion Park】. The Merlion statue stands on the Singapore River in the city and is a landmark and symbol of Singapore. (Helpful information: The large and small Merlion statues are periodically cordoned off in rotation for cleaning. The itinerary will still include a visit; please understand that you may not be able to see them during cleaning.) 【Singapore River Walk】The area around the Singapore River is the birthplace of our city. The river has been a lifeline from the very beginning and was the foundation for Singapore's development. 【Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay】The Esplanade in Singapore is one of the city's iconic cultural landmarks, known around the world for its distinctive “durian shell” design. It is not only a core hub for culture and the arts in Singapore, but also a prominent multidisciplinary performing arts venue in Asia and around the world. It plays an important role in promoting multicultural exchange and nurturing the local arts scene. Pass by the [Colonial District] (drive-by): Parliament House, Supreme Court, City Hall, Raffles Landing Site, Victoria Theatre, the century-old suspension bridge, and St Andrew’s Cathedral. [Lau Pa Sat Local Food Centre] (lunch at your own expense) “Pasar” refers to a market or bazaar specializing in food, and Lau Pa Sat is a classic market. As a well-known landmark, it brings together nearly a hundred varieties of Southeast Asian cuisine. In addition to its renowned satay, must-try dishes include Hokkien prawn mee, bak kut teh, laksa, and more! Lau Pa Sat is one of the largest surviving Victorian-era cast-iron buildings in Southeast Asia. Its architecture is distinctive, and its dining area is clean and bright, making it a particularly pleasant place to enjoy a meal. [Rainbow Building – Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information Building] Singapore has many colorful buildings, and the former Old Hill Street Police Station, built in 1934, is surely one of the most striking and elegant. After exploring Clarke Quay in the city center, it is easy to walk to the building. Its facade is covered with 927 dazzling, rainbow-colored windows, arranged in a gradient from left to right. This complex palette is harmonious rather than chaotic, making it one of the building’s most eye-catching features. [Little India] (drive-by) Little India is one of Singapore’s liveliest neighborhoods. Stroll along its surrounding streets and admire the harmonious coexistence of Hindu temples, Chinese temples, mosques, and Christian churches—a reflection of Singapore’s history and multicultural heritage. The ethnic enclaves are also a highlight for visitors, offering a glimpse into the past. [Trendy Haji Lane] This short lane is lined with bars, shisha lounges, clothing stores, creative shops, cafés, and more. Its vivid colors are dazzling, while the distinctive styles of its exotic boutiques make it hard to leave. Then set off on a “Marina Bay tour”: drive through the CBD, Singapore’s central business district, and see the Fountain of Wealth at Suntec City. Located in the center of Suntec City Mall, the Fountain of Wealth is a famous feng shui fountain in Singapore, believed to bring prosperity to those who touch its water. [Exterior of Marina Bay Sands] Marina Bay Sands is a large hotel built in Singapore by the US-based Las Vegas Sands Group. With a total investment of US$6 billion, the Marina Bay Sands complex includes a convention center, hotel, and shopping mall. [Marina Barrage Sky Oasis] In Singapore, even a normally dull water facility can become an exciting and popular leisure destination. Marina Barrage keeps the waves out of Marina Bay, leaving the reservoir within the bay calm and making it ideal for water activities such as solo kayaking and team dragon boat racing. *Depending on the scheduled pickup time, proceed to the Johor Bahru checkpoint for the handover. (Border crossing procedures between Singapore and Malaysia are subject to the official policies in effect at the time. Travelers are requested to cooperate.) After meeting the Malaysian driver-guide, depart for Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. *Visa-free entry to Malaysia: Travelers must have a round-trip air ticket, hotel booking, and Malaysia Digital Arrival Card. *The itinerary order is subject to the arrangements on the day.
Important notes

Itinerary details
Depart from the hotel. 【Dutch Red House + Portuguese Old City Gate and Fortress + St. Paul's Church】These buildings were constructed by the Dutch after their victory over the Portuguese in 1641. At the time, they served not only as the Dutch Governor's residence, but also as the government administrative center and municipal council during Dutch rule in Malacca. 【Traditional Malay Kampung Stilt House】It represents the beauty and ingenuity of traditional architecture, as well as the idea of sharing a home with others and living in harmony with nature. Special rock-style trishaw tour (one trishaw for every 2 people). Admire the old town's century-old buildings and cultural heritage, as if traveling through a corridor of time to another era. Feel the gentle breeze as you wind through the charming old streets, lined with historic buildings, and step back in time. (Note: Passengers are responsible for the trishaw driver's tip of MYR 4 per trishaw.) 【A Nanyang Dream Come True: Experience a Malacca Nyonya Outfit】(Complimentary). No visit to Malacca is complete without experiencing its local Nyonya culture. Dress in a Nyonya outfit and make beautiful memories at historic landmarks such as Jonker Street and the Red House in the old town. Feel like a local as you travel back in time and experience Malacca's long history and culture firsthand. This enriching experience adds depth to your trip. Sharing and passing on this culture helps more people learn about and appreciate Malacca's rich heritage, while ensuring it is better preserved for future generations. 【Jonker Street Antique Quarter】Walking among the remains of Ming-dynasty architecture feels like stepping into another time. Simply admiring the century-old houses along the street is a pleasure, and if you love collecting antiques, this place is a treasure trove. 【Malacca Street Art】In recent years, Jonker Street in Malacca has acquired several murals, inspired by those in George Town, Penang. A standout is the colorful geometric mural hidden in an alley, created by skincare brand Kiehl’s in collaboration with a Malaysian artist. It's a must-see mural! Its charming flowers and houses, painted with simple geometric shapes and vibrant colors, make this wall an eye-catching attraction. 【Malacca Straits Mosque】The mosque is located on the man-made island of Malacca. The Straits Mosque is beautiful in the glow of the setting sun. The sound of prayers broadcast over loudspeakers mingles with the waves, while the setting sun illuminates its golden dome. Sitting on the seawall and enjoying the view is a truly relaxing experience. 【Traditional Malacca Dessert – Cendol】(Complimentary). It looks like the shaved ice desserts found in China and is a traditional Southeast Asian treat. Its main ingredients are green cendol jelly, rich coconut milk, red beans, palm sugar, and crushed ice; every bite brings a cool sweetness. Drizzled with the famous Malacca palm sugar syrup, it's not overly sweet, and its rich fragrance makes it unforgettable. 【Photo Stop at Putrajaya Administrative Centre】The Prime Minister's Office of Malaysia is named after the country's first prime minister. Lush greenery stretches across the city, and trees line the roads to form a long, shaded boulevard. This 4.2-kilometer green avenue is also where national celebrations and military parades are held. 【Seri Wawasan Bridge】offers visitors a different perspective. Framed by the lake and surrounding hills, its elegant lines curve like a giant dragon gliding across the water. The bridge is a paradise for photography enthusiasts, with a perfect shot at every angle. Whether at sunrise, sunset, or beneath the brilliant stars at night, the views are unforgettable. 【Pink Mosque + Prime Minister's Office + Putrajaya Square】Modeled on the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco, it is located in Putrajaya, Malaysia's new administrative center. Covering 5.5 hectares and built at a cost of US$10 million, it is a mosque in Malaysia and also a floating mosque in Southeast Asia. *Passengers are responsible for the trishaw driver's tip of MYR 4 per trishaw. *Visitors may enter the mosque, but female visitors must borrow a robe from the right side of the entrance before entering. From a distance, the Hindu statues and murals, the giant golden statue, the Rainbow Steps, and Batu Caves make an exceptionally beautiful and spectacular sight. 【Discover Kuala Lumpur】A city of contrasts, combining a historic old town with modern development. On August 31, 1957, Malaysia’s founding father, Tunku Abdul Rahman, declared the country’s independence here, symbolizing Malaysia’s liberation from British colonial rule. 【River of Life】A river running through central Kuala Lumpur, often regarded as the city’s starting point. It flows from forested mountains on the outskirts through the city center, before emptying into the Strait of Malacca. The river has played a very important role in the city’s development, adding much to its history and culture. 【Kuala Lumpur Old Railway Station】This old railway station has become a popular photo spot for those who love nostalgia. The entire building is Moorish in style, with beautiful arched domes. The simple, undecorated rounded domes have a beauty all their own, while the horseshoe-shaped arches on the ground floor make it a favorite with lovers of historic architecture. Admission is free, and you are welcome to explore. Sit on a platform bench and watch the trains pass, or simply relax and enjoy a nostalgic moment. 【Jamek Mosque】Also known as the Friday Mosque, “Jamek” means a place where Muslims gather to worship in both Malay and Arabic. One of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest mosques, it was once the city’s main place of worship for Muslims. After the National Mosque was built in 1965, Jamek Mosque remained one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic and distinctive mosques thanks to its prime location and long history. Visitors must follow the dress code. Notices at the entrance explain the requirements; those whose clothing does not comply can borrow a robe and headscarf from the administration office. Please walk and speak quietly inside the mosque so as not to disturb Muslims at prayer. 【Kwai Chai Hong】This is a place filled with beautiful murals and history. Its name comes from a nickname locals gave to the children who played in the alley. According to legend, these children would come to play there on rainy days, and their voices often made neighbors think they were up to mischief. People began calling them “Kwai Chai,” or “little ghosts,” and named the alley Kwai Chai Hong. As soon as you enter, you’ll be captivated by the beautiful murals. Created by local artists, they depict Kuala Lumpur’s history and culture, including old buildings, traditional clothing, and street food, evoking a strong sense of nostalgia. You’ll also see shops converted from old houses that retain their original architectural features, such as red-brick walls and wooden doors and windows, giving you a feel for Kuala Lumpur’s historic atmosphere. 【Central Market】Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Central Market is a well-known landmark that brings together Malaysian culture and history. A one-stop center for Malaysian art and traditional handicrafts, it is a must-visit attraction for tourists and Malaysian art lovers alike. 【Kuala Lumpur Sin Sze Si Ya Temple & Heritage Museum】(Admission included) The century-old Sin Sze Si Ya Temple and Heritage Museum in Kuala Lumpur. Petaling Street is known for its food and bustling markets, but it is also home to one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest Chinese temples: Sin Sze Si Ya Temple. After paying your respects, drop by the neighboring Heritage Museum to learn about Kuala Lumpur’s past and present. The exhibition is divided into two main sections: ① Kuala Lumpur’s transformation from a mining settlement into a city, and stories of its early pioneers; ② the origins and architectural features of Sin Sze Si Ya Temple, as well as the deities worshipped there. Explore in air-conditioned comfort, escape the heat, and learn something new. History and temple culture enthusiasts are sure to find it worthwhile. (Tip: There’s a stamp activity near the entrance and exit, so don’t forget to check it out.) 【Pavilion Chocolate Afternoon Tea | A Poetic Sensory Encounter】Harriston Chocolatier Café—a premium Malaysian chocolate atelier inspired by quality ingredients and the charm of Southeast Asia—invites you on a delightful taste adventure. (Afternoon tea set: 1 chocolate + 1 drink + 1 French pastry) 【Kuala Lumpur Landmark – Petronas Twin Towers】(Exterior view) A symbolic landmark of Malaysia, comprising two uniquely shaped diamond-patterned towers. A skybridge connects the towers on the 41st and 42nd floors. The towers shot to fame as a filming location for the movie The Conmen in Vegas. 【New Instagram Hotspot – Saloma Link】This bridge spans the Klang River, connecting Kampung Baru and Jalan Ampang. In addition to making it easier for pedestrians to get around, Saloma Link’s design is inspired by the arrangement of sireh junjung betel leaves, making it a hit photo spot in central Kuala Lumpur. 【Jalan Alor Night Market】Located west of Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Alor is lined with more than 20 restaurants and over 200 stalls selling traditional Malaysian Chinese food and Cantonese cuisine. It’s like Singapore’s hawker centers, or Taiwan’s Ningxia and Raohe night markets. As evening falls, smoke rises along the street, while fruit stalls display an array of tropical fruits. As you walk along, the aromas of curry and grilled meat fill the air, and the lively seafood stalls are sure to whet your appetite.
