Itinerary details
After pickup, set out to visit Sydney's iconic city sights. First, visit the University of Sydney and its Instagram-famous Quadrangle. The University of Sydney is one of Australia's oldest and most prestigious universities, and the first in the Southern Hemisphere. Its expansive, immaculate lawns and many elegant Victorian buildings exude a distinctly British charm. Its main building, nicknamed the “Harry Potter Building” because it resembles a scene from the films, attracts many fans who come to take photos. Many celebrities have also chosen it for their wedding photos. Next, visit Bondi Beach, an Instagram-famous café, and the Icebergs Pool. Bondi Beach is one of Sydney's liveliest and Australia's best-known beaches, as well as a surfing hotspot. It is also home to ICEBERGS POOL, one of Sydney's original Instagram-famous attractions. This dreamy infinity pool appears to merge with the ocean, making it the perfect spot for eye-catching Instagram photos. For lunch, visit one of the largest seafood markets in the Southern Hemisphere (lunch at your own expense). Sydney Fish Market is one of the largest seafood markets in the Southern Hemisphere. Here, you can experience the market's vibrant colors and lively bustle firsthand. After lunch, visit the Sydney Opera House (exterior viewing) and the Royal Botanic Garden. The Sydney Opera House is one of the most distinctive buildings of the 20th century. It is not only a cultural and artistic landmark, but also the soul of Sydney. Visitors from around the world flock here every day to take photos, day and night, whether on foot or from the water. The Opera House offers a different kind of charm at every turn. A short walk southeast from the Opera House brings you to the Royal Botanic Garden. This green oasis in the city is known for its expansive lawns, tropical plants, and tranquil harbor views. Stroll along its winding paths for perfect views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, or pause in the shade to enjoy the leisurely blend of nature and city life. Then visit Hyde Park and St Mary's Cathedral The cathedral is built from local sandstone in the Gothic style, reflecting the architectural legacy of medieval European cathedrals. Then take a walk across the Harbour Bridge and soak up the atmosphere of The Rocks historic district. You can walk across this bridge connecting Sydney’s north and south shores and take in panoramic views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour. The Rocks is one of Sydney’s earliest developed areas. Day 3
Wollongong
Itinerary details
Our first stop is Bald Hill Lookout, one of Australia’s best-known viewpoints. At an elevation of about 300 metres, it offers uninterrupted 360-degree views of the area’s spectacular cliffs, blue ocean and Sea Cliff Bridge. The site is also renowned as a major paragliding launch spot. Travel along the Grand Pacific Drive, enjoying the scenery and crossing one of its striking landmarks—the Sea Cliff Bridge. Built along the coastal cliffs, the bridge curves between steep cliffs on one side and the vast Pacific Ocean on the other, rising high above the meeting point of land and sea to offer captivating coastal views. Next, visit Wollongong Head Lighthouse, the first new lighthouse in New South Wales since 1903. Built from reinforced concrete, it replaced several earlier lighthouses. Its towering profile against the harbour scenery is truly uplifting! Enjoy fish and chips for lunch. Next, visit Nan Tien Temple (closed Mondays, except public holidays). Nan Tien Temple is one of the largest Buddhist temples in the Southern Hemisphere. It blends traditional and modern architectural styles, and its main buildings include the Great Hero Hall, the Great Compassion Hall and the Ling Shan Pagoda. Then drive to one of Wollongong’s famous attractions, Kiama Blowhole. This naturally formed rock opening periodically sends jets of water surging from a hole at the top of the cliff—a spectacular sight and a must-see in the area. ※The blowhole is affected by the season, and its display varies with the wind, waves and weather. Next, arrive at the lesser-known, Instagram-famous Bombo Headland Quarry, known as “Heaven’s Gate.” Its stone pillars stand like sentinels holding back the pounding waves, lined up along the coast. The rocks in the middle have collapsed after years of wave action, creating an opening resembling a gate and giving rise to the name “Heaven’s Gate.” Walking among the columnar basalt formations feels like strolling on the moon. The final stop is Gerringong, a town on the South Coast of New South Wales. The well-known artistic town of Gerringong is often called a “painting village” for its picturesque scenery. It features coastal walking paths, ocean pools, whale-watching platforms and scenic beaches. Return to Sydney in the evening.
