Barcelona
A Mediterranean city blending classical and avant-garde influences, with ancient Roman ruins and medieval Gothic lanes alongside the mysterious, dreamlike Sagrada Família, Casa Milà, Casa Batlló and other works by Gaudí. The city itself is a living art museum, with inspiration and a vibrant everyday atmosphere at every turn.
Figueres
The birthplace of Spanish surrealist master Dalí. The town’s most iconic landmark is the Dalí Theatre-Museum, designed by Dalí himself. The building is full of dramatic flair, and its collection of paintings, sculptures, furniture and installations offers a fantastic gateway into Dalí’s inner world.
Besalú
One of Catalonia’s best-preserved medieval towns, where a stone bridge spans the river, linking cobbled streets with the remains of the old Jewish quarter. Walking through the town feels like stepping back in time, immersed in history among ancient stone walls and a tranquil atmosphere.
Blanes
The gateway to the Costa Brava, renowned for the Marimurtra Botanical Garden perched on the cliffs. With the sea on three sides and hills on the other, the garden brings together plant species from around the world. Sea breezes and floral scents combine to make this a wonderful place to experience the natural beauty of the Mediterranean.
Banyoles
A peaceful town centered around the lake of the same name. Its crystal-clear waters and leafy surroundings make it a popular spot with locals for leisurely strolls and kayaking. A welcome escape from the bustle of the city, it is the perfect place to take a deep breath and slow down.
