Frankfurt (Germany)

Prague (Czechia)
The capital of Czechia is known as a “museum of medieval architecture,” with Baroque, Gothic, and Renaissance buildings throughout the city. Prague Castle is one of the largest castle complexes in the world, and St. Vitus Cathedral is the country’s most iconic Gothic religious building. Charles Bridge spans the Vltava River, with picturesque views on both sides. The Old Town Astronomical Clock puts on a show with its moving figures every hour and is one of the city’s landmarks.
Bratislava (Slovakia)
Slovakia’s capital lies on the banks of the Danube, close to Austria and Hungary. Set among hills and water, Bratislava Castle sits on a hill overlooking the city and the Danube. The city was once a coronation city of the Kingdom of Hungary. Its colorful Old Town and winding streets make it a hidden gem rich in Eastern European charm.
Budapest (Hungary)
The Danube divides the city into Buda and Pest. On the Buda side are historic Castle Hill and Fisherman’s Bastion, while the Pest side is home to the Parliament Building and bustling streets. The Millennium Monument stands in Heroes’ Square, commemorating the glory of the Magyar founding of their nation a thousand years ago. Budapest is not only a city of architectural arts but also one of the birthplaces of Eastern European spa culture.
Vienna (Austria)
Austria’s capital, known as the “City of Music,” is the home of Mozart, Beethoven, and Johann Strauss. Schönbrunn Palace is one of Austria’s most famous palaces and was the Habsburg dynasty’s summer residence. The Ringstrasse is lined with landmark buildings including City Hall, the Parliament Building, and Hofburg Palace. St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the State Opera are must-see sights in the city center.
Mondsee (Austria)
This picturesque town in the Salzkammergut lake district is one of Austria’s most romantic lakeside destinations. The town’s St. Michael’s Church was the setting for the wedding scene in the film The Sound of Music. With clear waters reflecting the mountain scenery, it is a paradise for photography enthusiasts.
Munich (Germany)
The capital of Bavaria, Germany, is famous for its beer culture, Gothic architecture, and royal history. Marienplatz is the city center, where the New Gothic Town Hall’s clockwork figures perform every day at noon. Munich is also known as “one of Germany’s most livable cities,” blending classical and modern charms.
Mt. Titlis (Switzerland)
At 3,020 meters, Mount Titlis is the most famous year-round snow-capped mountain in central Switzerland. Take the 360-degree rotating cable car to the summit for spectacular views of the Alpine peaks and glaciers. With its ice cave, snow terrace, and observation platforms, it is one of the best places to experience Switzerland’s high-altitude winter scenery.
Lucerne (Switzerland)
An ancient city in central Switzerland, set on the shores of Lake Lucerne and renowned for its lakeside and mountain scenery and medieval architecture. The city’s most famous landmark, the Lion Monument, commemorates the Swiss Guards who died during the French Revolution. The historic Chapel Bridge is one of the oldest surviving wooden bridges in Europe, decorated with numerous historical paintings.
Zurich (Switzerland)
Switzerland’s largest city and financial center, and a symbol of high quality of life. Lake Zurich is clear and tranquil, with tree-lined shores. The Old Town’s well-preserved lanes retain their medieval character, and its many museums and art galleries make it one of Europe’s most culturally vibrant cities.
Rhine Falls (Switzerland)
Located in northeastern Switzerland, this is the largest waterfall in Western Europe. The water plunges down from a height of 21 meters with tremendous force, and is especially spectacular during the spring and summer snowmelt. You can take a boat close to the main falls and experience the awe-inspiring power of nature.
Titisee (Germany)
Deep in Germany’s Black Forest, this famous alpine lake is a popular holiday destination. Its clear waters are surrounded by dense forest, and the area is one of the origins of the cuckoo clock. Visitors can learn about the traditional craft of making wooden clocks at local workshops, and sample authentic Black Forest cake and German-style pork knuckle.
