[Skógafoss]
Skógafoss is 25 meters wide and 60 meters high, making it one of Iceland’s most spectacular waterfalls. Its abundant, thundering waters often create a rainbow in the sunlight, earning it the nickname “Rainbow Waterfall.” The open area below the falls and the viewing platform above are both perfect places to take photos and experience the power of nature.
[Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach]
Located on Iceland’s south coast, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach is famous for its black volcanic sand and waves crashing along the shore. It is considered one of the world’s ten most beautiful non-tropical beaches. The dramatic contrast between the black sand and the turbulent Atlantic creates a breathtaking, dreamlike scene. Every summer, large numbers of puffins gather here, giving visitors the chance to see these adorable “national birds of Iceland” up close. It is one of Iceland’s most distinctive wildlife attractions.
[Fagradalsfjall Volcanic Valley]
Fagradalsfjall volcano lies on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the North American and Eurasian plates meet. It has erupted several times in recent years, becoming one of Iceland’s most celebrated natural wonders. Because its eruptions are relatively gentle and predictable, visitors may have the opportunity to view the volcanic landscape and flowing lava from a safe distance. However, volcanic activity is unpredictable, and the government may close roads depending on conditions to ensure safety. This is a drive-by or distant-viewing experience; geological activity cannot be guaranteed.
[Múlagljúfur Canyon]
Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon is located in southeastern Iceland. About 100 meters deep and 2 kilometers long, it was carved over millions of years by glacial meltwater and erosion. The canyon winds through the landscape, with steep, towering sides that spread out like wings—hence its name. The Fjaðrá River flows from the Geirlandshraun mountains, rushing through the canyon before joining the Skaftá River. The water is now shallow, so visitors can hike along the canyon floor or take in its remarkable scenery from trails along the rim. In the distance, waterfalls flow like painted brushstrokes, making this a paradise for photography lovers.
[Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon]
One of Iceland’s best-known and most dreamlike glacial lagoons, it is dotted with icebergs of all sizes, some thousands of years old. Their colors range from white, blue, and green to gray-brown, where volcanic ash is mixed in, creating a serene yet awe-inspiring scene. Jökulsárlón is right next to Route 1, making it easy to reach and ideal for up-close viewing and photography. On clear days, the distant glacier looks like a frozen waterfall, as if time has stood still. If you’re lucky, you may also see groups of seals lazily sunbathing on the ice—a scene that seems almost unreal.
[Mývatn Nature Baths]
Known as the “Blue Lagoon of the North,” Mývatn Nature Baths is nestled in the scenic Lake Mývatn Nature Reserve, just two kilometers from the town of Reykjahlíð. The geothermal pools surround a lagoon, and the water stays between 36 and 40°C year-round. Rich in sulfur and various minerals, it may help relieve stress and improve skin and respiratory conditions. Compared with the Blue Lagoon in the south, it is less crowded and more scenic, making it an excellent place to enjoy geothermal bathing and the tranquility of the north.
【Dark Castle Lava Group】
Dimmuborgir means “dark castles” and is one of the Mývatn area’s most unusual lava formations. Cooled lava has created arches, spires, and caves, making the area feel like a maze in another world. It was the filming location for the “Wildling camp” in Game of Thrones, which brought it widespread fame. Icelandic folklore also casts it as a mysterious place where trolls and elves roam. The heavy metal band Dimmu Borgir was named after this place, adding to its dark-fantasy character.
[Goðafoss]
Located in northeastern Iceland, Goðafoss is part of Skjálfandafljót, Iceland’s fourth-largest river. The waterfall is about 30 meters wide, with a drop of 12 meters; its powerful flow is also remarkably graceful. According to legend, after Iceland adopted Christianity, statues of the old gods were thrown into this waterfall, giving it its name, “Waterfall of the Gods.” More than a natural wonder, this is a sacred place steeped in faith and history. Its rising mist makes it seem like an entrance to a world of myth.
[Hellissandur]
The iconic scene found in almost every auto-refractor—a road, a small house, and a hot-air balloon—really exists in the Icelandic town of Hellissandur. The building known as the “little house” is actually a concrete church built in 1903. Every summer, lupines bloom around it in a brilliant display under the midnight sun, creating a picture-perfect scene. Today, this peaceful, storybook-like church is a favorite photo spot for visitors and photographers.
[Þingvellir National Park]
Þingvellir is one of Iceland’s most important historical sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 930 AD, Alþingi, the world’s first democratic parliament, was established here. Geologically, this is where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet, and you can see the forces pulling the two continents apart. Fissures, lava fields, and volcanic caves dot the landscape, creating a one-of-a-kind geological spectacle. Here, history and nature come together: trace the story of human civilization and explore the forces of the Earth.
[Geysir Geothermal Area]
The English word “geyser” comes from the name of this place, Geysir. Although the Great Geysir is currently dormant, nearby Strokkur remains active, shooting a column of boiling water into the air every few minutes, reaching heights of up to 40 meters. This entire geothermal area has an otherworldly feel, with boiling pools, steam vents, and a strong sulfur smell combining to create a feast for the senses. It is one of Iceland’s signature geothermal wonders.
[Gullfoss]
Gullfoss is one of Iceland’s most magnificent waterfalls. Fed by meltwater from Langjökull Glacier, the river Hvítá rushes into the canyon and plunges down in a thunderous torrent. The waterfall has two drops, measuring 11 and 22 meters, for a total height of 32 meters. From the canyon’s edge, it looks as if the water is plunging straight into the heart of the Earth—a truly spectacular sight. Whether it’s the golden mist in the sunlight or the dramatic frozen landscape in winter, this is a natural wonder not to be missed.
Day 1
Reykjavík - Fagradalsfjall volcanic canyon - Seljalandsfoss area - Black Sand Beach
🗓️ Itinerary: 【Airport Pickup and Departure】 Upon arrival in downtown Reykjavík, Iceland’s capital, or at Keflavík International Airport, you will be met by a professional Chinese-speaking driver-guide. The rooms offer expansive views, and the hotel is far from light pollution—making it ideal for viewing the northern lights and the Milky Way. It is also one of Iceland’s newest popular scenic hotels. ※ Please note: The Fagradalsfjall volcanic area can be unstable. If volcanic activity increases or roads are closed, the itinerary will be adjusted as appropriate. Thank you for your understanding. The waves at Black Sand Beach are powerful and the winds are strong. Please stay away from the water when taking photos, follow your guide’s instructions, and keep yourself safe. Visiting the Hidden Waterfall involves crossing streams and rocky crevices. Wear non-slip shoes, watch out for slippery surfaces, and carefully assess whether the route is suitable for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Meeting time and location Meeting point: Board the tour at 9:00 a.m. in downtown Reykjavík or at 9:50 a.m. at Keflavík International Airport. Drop-off point: On the final day, disembark in downtown Reykjavík or at 4:50 p.m. at Keflavík International Airport. If you choose to purchase the Blue Lagoon or Blue Lagoon hotel option, you can disembark at the Blue Lagoon after arriving there by vehicle. Please notify us in advance of your boarding location. The exact time is subject to the departure notice. 2. How do I get to the meeting point? The journey from Iceland’s airport to downtown Reykjavík takes about 1 hour. Airport buses stop at hotels throughout the city and cost about €23 per person. Taxis cost about €130 for 1–3 people or €150 for 4–7 people. Taxis queue outside the airport terminal. Buses run approximately every 15 minutes. 3. Iceland’s temperatures Summer in Iceland is not hot. Temperatures are usually between -2°C and 10°C. Approximate daylight hours: about 20 hours in June, 21 hours in July, 18 hours in August, 14 hours in September, and 11 hours in October. Winter in Iceland is not very cold. Temperatures are usually between -8°C and 2°C. Approximate daylight hours: about 7 hours in November, 4 hours in December, 3 hours in January, and 5 hours in February. 4. Important information: Tour participants in Iceland must bring their own swimsuits. All hot springs in Iceland require you to bring your own swimsuit. T-shirts, shorts, and underwear are not permitted in the water. 5. Will joining the Silfra Fissure snorkeling tour affect my itinerary? The planned visit to Þingvellir National Park is 3 hours. If you join the snorkeling tour there, your sightseeing time will be reduced by 1 hour; the rest of the itinerary remains unchanged. Snorkeling is affected by weather, temperature, and visibility, and ordinary travelers differ greatly from professional explorers. Therefore, if the guide determines that the day’s weather or water conditions are unsuitable for ordinary travelers to snorkel, the activity will be canceled and a full refund will be issued within 5 business days. The Silfra Fissure snorkeling tour is not suitable for people over 65, children under 13, pregnant women, people with pacemakers, people with high blood pressure, and others. A dry suit is provided to wear underneath, with a wetsuit worn over it. Therefore, even in water temperatures of 4–5°C, you will not become dangerously cold. After snorkeling for 30–40 minutes, you may feel slightly cold when you come ashore. Exposed parts of your body, such as your hair, may get wet. The dry suit provides substantial buoyancy, and the fins provide plenty of propulsion, so even non-swimmers can quickly learn the basics of snorkeling. 6. Will I be able to see an active volcanic eruption and flowing lava? Because active volcanoes are unpredictable, we cannot make any promises or predictions about volcano visits. The 2024 Fagradalsfjall eruption made it possible to see red-hot lava flowing for an extended period; it had still not cooled seven months later. If eruptions are frequent, particularly if instability in the Meradalir lava fissure leads to repeated eruptions in the Fagradalsfjall volcanic area, the Blue Lagoon will close. In that case, accommodation will be arranged at a city hotel, and the price difference between the Blue Lagoon and the city hotel will be refunded. If Road 427 has not been announced as closed, you will be able to see the vast lava fields formed during eruptions in Fagradalsfjall volcanic valley, where new lava flows over older lava alongside traces of geothermal activity.
Important Information
I. Change Policy 1. For group tour products, both Party A and Party B may request a refund without giving a reason up to 30 days before departure (excluding the 30th day). 2. The multi-person room price will no longer apply. After booking, if travelers are unable to participate in some activities for personal reasons, they may not request a refund for those activities. Partial withdrawal from the tour and refunds are not available. During the itinerary, if travelers voluntarily skip activities included in the tour price or leave the group partway through, all costs will already have been incurred. No refunds are available for activities or itinerary items the traveler did not attend, or for hotel nights not used. 3. Transport changes: Name-change deadlines and conditions are subject to the specific terms of the airline, railway company, bus company, or cruise company. In general, hotel name changes cost EUR 6–18; airline name changes cost EUR 100–120 per leg; and train and cruise name changes cost EUR 35–180 per ticket. Under flight management regulations and international aviation law, return, multi-leg, or connecting itineraries must be used in sequence. If any leg is unused, subsequent legs cannot be used. Train, ferry, cruise, and other international transport tickets on connecting or return itineraries must also be used in sequence. 4. Cancellations and changes: The following situations are subject to the refund standards for order cancellations or changes: - Reducing the number of participants - Canceling an entire order - Changing the itinerary - Changing the participation date for the same itinerary. For details, see the refund standards in the “Changes and Cancellations Policy.” II. Insurance 1. This product does not include personal health insurance, flight cancellation or delay insurance, baggage and personal property insurance, or travel insurance. Travelers may choose to purchase travel insurance themselves on the booking page or authorize our company to purchase “Travel Insurance” on their behalf. 2. Travelers should purchase insurance appropriate to their circumstances. If an exceptional situation occurs, compensation must be claimed under the relevant personal health, flight cancellation or delay, baggage and personal property, or travel insurance purchased by the traveler. Before traveling, travelers should carefully check the insurance terms and claim requirements. 3. Travelers are advised not to bring valuable jewelry or other valuables on their trip. Travelers are responsible for safely looking after important documents and valuables during the trip. Valuables such as jewelry are not covered by standard insurance; in the event of theft, a claim must be made under the relevant valuables insurance purchased by the traveler. 4. If the itinerary includes high-risk activities, including but not limited to snow sports, water sports, high-altitude activities, speed sports, or extreme sports, please check whether your travel insurance covers the activity and review any claim restrictions in the policy. III. Itinerary 1. The order of the itinerary may be adjusted due to connecting flights, transport arrangements, activity schedules, and other factors. Changes to sightseeing dates, times, or order, without changing the route or attractions, do not constitute a breach of contract by the travel agency. The travel agency reserves the right to change the itinerary route. 2. If flights or trains are delayed or there is a strike, special circumstances may affect arrival time on the day, and the arrival time may be uncertain. The travel agency is not responsible for traveler losses caused by force majeure resulting in delays to subsequent itinerary arrangements. Coaches may also be used instead of high-speed trains. Please refer to the transport arrangements in the departure notice. 3. European airlines frequently change flight schedules. We require travelers to arrive at the meeting point one day before joining the tour and leave the departure point one day after the tour ends. For connecting flights, allow at least 4 hours between flights at the same airport or 6 hours between different airports. The travel agency is not responsible for losses caused by flight schedule changes. 4. The sightseeing order may be adjusted for some departure dates, but the sightseeing content will remain the same and the overall experience will not be affected. If the order shown for your departure date conflicts with the departure notice, please follow the departure notice. IV. Hotels 1. Single travelers sharing a room: A deposit for the single-room supplement is included by default when booking this product as a single traveler. If you share a room for some nights, the refund will be calculated according to the actual proportion of nights shared (for example, on a 5-night trip, if you successfully share a room for 3 nights, 3/5 of the single-room supplement will be refunded). If a room share is successfully arranged, the refund will be issued based on actual occupancy within five business days after the tour ends. 2. Single occupancy: If you do not wish to share a room, add the note “Single occupancy required; do not arrange room sharing; single-room supplement is non-refundable” when booking. We will arrange single occupancy at the single-occupancy price. 3. Standard twin/double room: When two people book together, a standard twin/double room is assigned by default. The bed configuration is determined by the hotel and cannot be selected. It may have one double bed or two single beds; a specific bed configuration cannot be requested. 4. Triple family room: A triple family room is intended for two parents and one minor child. The bed configuration is determined by the hotel and cannot be selected. It may have three single beds, one double bed and one single bed, one double bed and one sofa bed, or a double room with an extra bed. If a triple room is unavailable, travelers booking as a group of three will by default share rooms with travelers of the same gender. If three travelers choose a triple room and one person cancels, the price will be recalculated based on a two-person room. 5. Smoking is prohibited in all European hotels, as is cooking in rooms (including self-heating or quick-heating food that does not use an open flame). Hotels do not provide disposable personal toiletries or free boiled water. Check-in at European hotels is at 14:00 and checkout is at 11:00. Most European countries are located at relatively high latitudes, so evenings are cool in summer. Therefore, air conditioning is not considered a standard hotel amenity in Europe. 6. If travelers request a stay at a specialty hotel or a hotel that cannot be substituted, payment must be completed by the deadline based on our quoted price. After the deadline, hotel availability and prices must be reconfirmed, and a successful booking cannot be guaranteed. 7. The hotels listed in the itinerary are the preferred accommodations. If they are fully booked or otherwise unavailable, we will substitute hotels with similar conditions and the same star rating, without further notice to travelers. 8. When leaving your hotel room, be sure to close the door. Tourists will be liable for compensation for any damage, including but not limited to damage to facilities caused by animals entering because the door was left open, facilities freezing in severe cold, or electrical appliances being damaged by high temperatures. V. Trip Information 1. Reconfirmation: We recommend booking travel products at least 14 days in advance. The itinerary may be reconfirmed no later than 48 hours before departure. After payment has been successfully made, the travel product you purchased must be reconfirmed by the tour operator (average processing time: 45 minutes). If it has not been confirmed within 48 hours, it will be automatically refunded by default. Do not book connecting flights or hotels until your itinerary is confirmed. 2. Small-group tours / guided tours: These are rotating local group tours, and other travelers joining locally may join your tour during the itinerary. The maximum group size disclosed for a product is the upper limit on the average number of participants per day. 3. All attractions, experiences, sightseeing activities, and other activities included in this product are group-tour products. Group-tour products differ from independent-travel products in their dates, prices, and sightseeing arrangements. Information about similar products sold to independent travelers is not a valid reference. 4. Unless specifically indicated, the attractions listed in the itinerary do not include fees for museum interpreters. At some attractions, the guide cannot enter to provide commentary without an in-house interpreter accompanying the group. Names marked with an asterisk in the itinerary refer to the travel route and do not mean that admission to the attraction is included. See the fee information or the relevant terms and itemized details in the quotation for specific costs; 5. No guide accompanies you during “Free Time,” “Recommended Free Time,” “Recommended Specialty Experiences,” or “Recommended Dining”; all related expenses are at your own cost; 6. In the event of unforeseen or emergency circumstances or incidents—such as celebrations, exhibitions, strikes, demonstrations, or changes in weather—that result in traffic controls, congestion, restricted access, illness, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseeable situations, the driver-guide may temporarily change the route and rearrange the order of sightseeing activities without further notice to travelers. 7. If an experience is adjusted due to weather, celebrations, restrictions, or other uncontrollable factors, our staff will explain the situation to travelers in detail. This will not be considered a modification or omission of an itinerary experience. We will adjust the itinerary based on actual circumstances to ensure it proceeds as planned; 8. If only a driver-guide is provided (with no second guide), the guide may not leave the service vehicle while luggage is on board. Travelers must keep their valuables with them at all times; the guide cannot take responsibility for looking after their belongings; 9. The guide or driver-guide provides transportation from the hotel to attractions and between cities, introduces local sightseeing options, and recommends restaurants. Travelers explore attractions on their own, while the service provider waits outside. 10. For nature reserves, cultural heritage conservation areas, and vehicle-restricted zones included in the itinerary, tour vehicles must comply with local regulations and environmental requirements. Vehicles may not drop travelers at the entrance to an attraction/site and can only park in nearby parking lots. Travelers must walk or use transportation such as taxis, the metro, sightseeing trains, electric taxis, or golf carts to reach the protected area or attraction; VI. Pricing Information 1. The price for three people applies only when all three travelers book together and stay in one triple room. If a triple room is unavailable, the booking will automatically be changed to a double room, and the third traveler will need to share with another traveler of the same gender. Four travelers may choose two double rooms (at the double-room rate); if a four-person family room is available, they may choose one family room. For five travelers, the default arrangement is one triple room and one double room. For larger groups, see the different room types and prices under Booking Management. 2. All attractions, experiences, sightseeing activities, and other activities included in this product are group-tour products. Group-tour products differ from independent-travel products in their dates, prices, and sightseeing arrangements. Information about similar products sold to independent travelers is not a valid reference. 3. Prices for destination resources such as European hotels fluctuate in real time due to exchange rates and airfare prices. We adjust our sales prices in real time in line with these fluctuations. Consequently, prices shown at different times and on different third-party platforms may differ, as may the currencies displayed. Under tourism and contract law, the price confirmed in real time by our company is the price agreed by both parties. We cannot predict or guarantee price fluctuations under a contract that has already been signed, nor can we adjust prices for customers who have already signed a contract. 4. All travel costs are quoted in euros at the time of booking. If a traveler chooses to pay in RMB, the amount payable is the real-time RMB price automatically calculated by this website at the time of payment using Bank of China's current “euro selling rate.” If a refund is issued, the exchange rate on the date the refund is requested will also apply. Under no circumstances may the refund amount exceed the purchase amount. 5. After booking, travelers should pay promptly to avoid an increase in the RMB payment amount due to exchange-rate fluctuations. Group-charter and custom-tour customers must complete payment and sign the contract by the deadline specified in the contract and Itinerary. If they miss the deadline, the travel costs will be recalculated based on factors including exchange-rate changes and cost fluctuations, and we will need to reconfirm the contract terms with the travelers. VII. Group Formation 1. Group-charter tours: Based on the product description, contract, and Itinerary, the group size for a group-charter tour, custom tour, or private group is the actual number of travelers who have booked. The group is confirmed as soon as the travelers have signed an outbound travel contract with us and paid the travel costs. 2. Small-group tours: Based on the product description, contract, and Itinerary, if the product is described as a small-group tour, the group is confirmed in accordance with the quoted group size and the nature of the tour. It is confirmed once the minimum group size is reached. If the minimum group size is not reached, the group is not confirmed. 3. If the minimum group size has not been reached before the trip begins, either the travelers or our company may terminate the contract. Before the group is confirmed, neither party is liable for breach of contract. Once the group is confirmed, either party that terminates the contract shall bear the corresponding liability for breach in accordance with the contract and the detailed terms of the Changes and Cancellation Policy. VIII. Risk Information 1. A small-group tour can be initiated by three or more travelers. After the traveler initiating the group (the “Organizer”) has paid the full travel costs, we will begin recruiting and accepting bookings from other travelers. Before the group is confirmed (that is, before the minimum group size is met), the Organizer may apply for a refund at any time or request to change the booking to a custom private tour. 2. Our agency may not disclose the personal information of any other travelers in a group booking. Travelers in a group booking may not impose restrictions on other travelers who sign up to join the group, including but not limited to restrictions concerning age, occupation, region, nationality, gender, number of travelers, or religion. 3. Group booking risk: If the minimum group size has not been reached seven days before departure, travelers who sign up for a customized group tour may choose another group arrangement or product, or receive a refund of the tour fees, in accordance with the contract. If the tour cannot operate because the minimum group size has not been reached, the travel agency has no obligation to pay compensation or liability for breach of contract. 4. Risk of joining a tour in progress: If a traveler does not arrive at the agreed departure point at the agreed time, does not follow the group through customs as agreed, or otherwise misses the group departure and needs to join the tour partway through, they may be unable to use travel services because of matters such as not using air or boat tickets in the required order, not arriving at the hotel on the first night, or failing to make advance customs declarations. Customs authorities may also refuse entry. Our agency accepts no responsibility for any risks involved in joining a tour in progress. Travelers must cover any resulting additional costs and may not cancel the booking without penalty. IX. Disclaimer 1. In uncontrollable circumstances such as strikes, train delays, or vehicle breakdowns caused by high temperatures, the tour guide may adjust or shorten sightseeing stops or temporarily change vehicles based on the actual situation. This is not considered a modification or removal of an itinerary experience. In accordance with tourism regulations, our agency will not charge additional fees and is not liable for compensation for any unused services (including but not limited to hotels, admission tickets, and activities). 2. If attractions, scenic areas, or tourism activities included in the itinerary are temporarily closed due to major religious, diplomatic, or other significant events, disasters, or objective circumstances such as weather, delays to the flight taken by travelers, maintenance at a venue, or special closures, our agency is not liable for refunds, ticket refunds, or any other compensation. 3. Extreme blizzards may occur in the Nordic Arctic regions, and high winds may occur in Iceland and along the Mediterranean coast. If, on the day of an activity, the meteorological authority issues an orange warning, or winds reach gale force, exceed 28 meters per second, or reach Force 10 on the Beaufort scale, our agency will immediately transfer travelers to the nearest hotel to rest, in accordance with tourism regulations and insurance disclaimers. Our agency will not charge additional fees and is not liable for compensation for any unused services (including but not limited to hotels, admission tickets, and activities). 4. Some photos in the product description were uploaded by travelers. Europe's scenery varies by season and cannot be compared. Images are for reference only; scenery differs from season to season, and this does not constitute misleading advertising. 5. Please carefully read the product details, contract and supplementary agreements, travel notes, and legal information for your destination before departure. If you have any questions or are unsure about anything during your trip, please promptly consult the driver-guide or staff at the hotel or scenic area. If your personal conduct results in a fine or penalty, this is not an adverse consequence arising from our agency's failure to provide required information. You must pay any applicable fine or penalty yourself. This will not affect the normal itinerary of other travelers in the same group. If a penalized traveler is consequently unable to participate in the rest of the itinerary, the tour fees will not be refunded.
